The balloon doesn't get you higher. What I do is breath in half of one from the dispenser, and take half a breath of air with it. Hold it in then take little tiny breaths of air without exhaling most of the nitrous. Breath some fresh air then repeat to finish the other half.

Come on man, you know better than to suggest that your own, personal, subjective experience applies to EVERYONE.

Using a balloon gets me LOADS higher. This goes for most people I know.

It might not work for you, but it's hubris for you to strut around saying it worn't work for anyone.

Interesting. What brand of whip-its did you use? And how many would you go through during a psychedelic trip?

I usually go through 20 or 30 per trip, which isn’t that much. Never experienced even a moment of discomfort on them, including after.

i used both ultra-purewhip and sfg.  people always assume that its an impurity or something. i personally think its the nitrous oxide its self. i would use like a box or a little more on a trip. i wouldn't just do it when tripping though. sometimes i would do it once a month, sometimes a few times a week. i took a long break and tried again a few times. they still have the potential to make me sick. even one or two can give me a headache and 3 can make me feel totally sick to my stomach sort of hallucinate. and i used to do a whole bunch in a row and feel fine. i never experienced any discomfort on it either. for a long time. thats why im saying it turned on me. it was always very clean feeling and pleasant with no side effects. and then i started feeling kinda crappy after doing alot and now it makes me sick. i could do 30 in a row and feel totally great too so dont think you are immune.

btw im not the only one. i remember sheekle saying something similar i think.

Nitrous Compliments other drugs beautifully but by its self not that great.

I usually blow the nitrous into my nose for an extra boast. I dont like using ballons cause they make an annoying sound when u touch them and because they sometimes pop.

I prefer a hose on a dispenser. Whip cream cans has the perfect pressure so i just direct inject to my mouth hole.

In my college years the nitrous went up out pooper. We attached a funnel to a balloon and released.

Clearly you have never combined psychedelic(s) and nitrous. You are missing out d00d.

edit to add:

I've seen people go into what looks like a seizure almost when not breathing enough oxygen between nitrous hits (heard it called "fishing out" and it does kind of look like a fish out of water flopping around :eek:)

I don't know if this is unhealthy or how unsafe it is, but it definitely looks fucked up. Seems to happen to some people worse than others. I can't deprive myself of oxygen long enough to get that point my body always stops inhaling the nitrous.


Freaky as fuck to watch someone go through that if you're high on psychedelics
