Who the hell dreams in black and white?  dreams are for imagination and reflection of ones life and processing emotions that are amazing.  if one is colorblind does one dream in black and white as well.  never thought of that possibility.  I learn though. many unique people in life.  and black and white pictures are ok, a bit bland, but ok.

colour except for sometimes when everything is dark and i cant see anything.

Strange when one knows one dreamed but can't recall a single thing about it.  Think I will start a dreaming thread.  Thought because of this bender I wasn't dreaming but sensed I was.  And I know this is about colorblindness but no one knows the answer so I will start a new thread. Or just google it would be simpler.


Anyway it was extremely vivid.  So even on blackout benders one can have an extremely lucid dream with emotions in it.  It felt like I was actually there in a ballfield playing softball with people fading in and out of existance.  Strange.

Feels like this is sort of what it will be like when I die and it will be a really vivid dream but I won't wake up from it.  Then like dreams do, will shift to something else until I finally move on to whatever, can't last like that for eternity.  Just a transition without waking up. 


Whatever, it is life and everyone goes through it.  Whatever.  No one controls it.  It was just one basic simple question and instead of watching the NFL after being up all night I am thinking about if people that are colorblind see color in their dreams.  Or dogs.  Blah.

This thread turned out to be kind of a trip.  These are the results I would have expected, I guess I can tell my boy he’s full of shite.

Now I have for a fact talked to a lot of people who never fly (or breathe under water is a other one).  It used to happen rarely when I was young but was always a big deal when it happened.  Then I started with the lucid dreaming and you can trigger yourself lucid with flying so since you were focusing on it, it would make sense for it to keep coming up.  I would think at least, that’s usually how it for me.

I frequently have pretty fighty dreams so when whatever is chasing me catches me flying is the only way to get away, that would snap me out of the ‘daze’ of dreaming and I would become fully awake in the dream.  Anyways tl;dr flying in a dream is cool af..

My friend who was studying to be a psychologist was mentioning this same thing to me. They were briefly learning about dreams and she said she was surprised to find out people actually dream in black and white.

I dream in color, very pastel sometimes and soft but things I'm drawn to are very vivid in color. Like beacons or something. Violence and blood is very vivid as well. Or fire.

Although I have dreamt in black and white a handful of times..... remember in them as black and white just as I would remember color dreams.... 

Interesting stuff indeed.
