I don't know this Amanita but wikipedia says that edibility  is just not recommended, meaning it's not even as toxic as Muscaria (which has relatively low toxicity) so probably go with Muscaria doses or higher.

Some people seem to suggest eating these and others don’t... I don’t really have any input other than these are all over my neighborhood and I don’t eat them. Lol. Seen some beautiful specimens though. Saw someone’s yard with probably 30+ of these things recently

If you are going to eat them I would start very small as I believe they do contain low amounts of toxins (muscarine?) hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in.

Although not from direct experience, I am quite knowledged in Amanita Muscarias (as I've read tonof stuff about it), and this species seems mostly identical.

you will find useful information about Muscaria all around... and as I was saying above, Persicina is just a less potent Muscaria as far as I know.

But you are right to try small bits beforehand.
I'd suggest trying to cook them for the first times, as they might get really tasty.

Just go for it. The deadly dosage is 15 caps. You're fine. The muscarine content is nearly zero.

You are gonna have to eat a lot, though, before you feel anything. I ate 5 grams in a tea and felt almost nothing
