Interested in Trying Amanita Muscaria

I'm interested in trying out some amanita muscaria, you can legally order bags of dried caps, so hey, why not check off another substance off my bucket list? I'm getting mixed information on how to properly consume them though, as well as their toxicity. Some saying it's fine to just eat the dried caps, others say you absolutely need to boil them in water, others that you need to boil them in some concoction, so I'm not sure what the proper path to take is. What would you say the best way to go about it is?

Also, trusted vendors? Untrusted vendors? I'm looking at buying B stock from Shaman's Garden, from what I see B stock is just saying they aren't the prettiest, and that's not exactly what I'm interested in.

So I did a little research a while ago on muscaria since it interested me greatly.
As far as I gathered and reflected upon, dried caps is the Bette choice, since ibotenic acid (the principal suspect ofside effects like stomachache and maybe delirium) converts to muscimol (the main active compund and the one you want to be effected by). At least as far as a know.
If you want a "real" trip:
After drying, make a tea out of them by grinding them in the smallest pieces. The dose per person is quite discussed, since every patch of the mushrooms is going to have different potency, varying from individual to another too.

So I recommend firstly to eat a dried cap to test them: start with 1/4th of it or some more, and wait out the effects.
The next day you can try to go further and so on.

Be sure to not eat and be like"this is not doing shit, I'm going for 3 caps" before even testing. An account of how a dude risked coma for eating many caps can be found in this very website of I recall correctly.

Lastly beware that Amanitas are not your psilocybin 'friendly'shroom, and to have a full on trip you are going to experience insane shit. It's very daring to try to have a trip resembling classic shrooms with amanita since it's psychedelic potency per toxicity is way less than them.
This means that the higher you go up, the more you go out of control.

Don't expect visuals from it at lower medium doses, it's more like being drunk.
This is shamanic shit man, I'd recommend having a tea with it and if you feel to, go to bed.It's said to make you dream very very very interesting and astonishing stuff.

I'd use it for that mainly.

But take my words with a grain of salt and explore the substance by yourself, making sure you don't go too far :smile:

P.S.if you buy panther caps remind that the compunds are the same but stronger

better take too little then too much the first time.

Don't buy the B stock, always get the highest quality you can find. I know it says its based on how they look, but generally speaking the better looking, better preserved ones have better effects also. This isn't always true, but as a general rule.

I recommend buying them on eBay. Read the listings and see which ones look the best and which vendors seem most knowledgeable with  the best reviews. The Washington caps have a heavier, more sedating effect whereas the ones from Europe are speedier and maybe also a bit easier to handle.
