Restless leg syndrome is nothing to scoff at.
It's the least of withdrawal symptoms from opiates.  But go a few nights without sleep and tell me everything is ok.0

I noticed that many alkaloids are effective at 50mg, heavy at 300mg, and unhealthy at any higher. Kratom contains 20 to 30mg Mitragynine per gram, plus 10mg of all the other weird stuff. EGCG from green tea is good for withdrawal, but I just read that anything over 400mg is bad for the liver. EGCG helps 5-HTP cross the BBB, just 50mg under the tongue boosts my mood instantly, but you don't want to take that every day.

I got WDs when I had a 40-50g/day habit, but they weren't very severe. They start about 16 hour after the last dose and last about 36 hours, very short. I would personally just take some benadryl and sleep it off as much as I could.

I'm pretty stagnant. I've been a daily user for 2 years and on and off for 5+. I also don't bring it out of the country. While highly habituating I can't say I've ever felt a withdrawal symptom. Now obviously every one is different, but is it even possible to take a traditional opiate that long and not have withdrawals?

Think it’s harm reduction potential far outweighs risk of habituation.  If you’re risking getting a krat habit it’s not unreasonable to assume you’d relapse on something that could quite literally claim your life
