Some Fungi and Mushrooms
    #25574746 -

I found some fungi and mushrooms while I was fishing this evening.
The mushrooms were very mature and at the base of the cluster I seen they were growing off either a root in the ground or some old wood buried underneath the soil.
The fungus was found on rotting wood. I have no clue as to what they are.
I wasnt able to get spore prints because it was dark and I was in a hurry.
Thanks

Cool... that's what I thought.
What about the fungus?

A mushroom is the fruiting body of a fungus. All images here depict both a mushroom, the fruiting body, and a fungus, the entire organism. The bracket mushroom could be a very old Laetiporus Sp, but better images would be needed for a true ID.

I understand that.
I was just differentiating between the fruiting body and the fungi.
Thanks for your input tho :highfive:
