How do you make Kratom go inside you?

I thought this subject might have been discussed here recently, but I just searched back over the past year and couldn't see a relevant thread.

I'm an infrequent user these days, but man do I hate getting the stuff down. I mix with a scoop of protein powder and milk, shake it up, and gulp in between eating mouthfuls of apple to try and dislodge the taste.

I know gelcaps are the only way to avoid the taste entirely, but is there some way of eating it without that's perhaps more palatable?

Do any flavours hide the godawful flavour of the leaf?

Toss and wash for the win.

Used to have a capsule machine and 1000 veggie caps off Amazon. Best noob way but Kratom in a pill bottle is the best kratom flask... t&w out of the cap with any liquid.

toss and wash with water. super easy and you don't taste it at all if you do it right. definitely the best route.

you have a sip of water in your mouth first , throw the kratom in the water, swish it around til it's all mixed together, wash down with another sip. definitely don't drop it right on your tongue or throat dry.

Ooo I can't resist a kratom thread.

I don't find the taste too horrific, a lot of the drugs I do taste worse (poppy tea, shrooms), but it certainly isn't pleasant.

Beware the "toss n wash" brigade, I'm suspicious of that method of consumption myself...

Have you ever tried to mix kratom with water?
If so, you will have noticed that it is very hydrophobic... It floats on water even after stirring, it takes about 30 seconds of constant stirring to fully rehydrate the powder.

Therefore, there is a strong possiblity that swallowing dry powder could result in decreased absorption, as the powder will first have to be hydrated before your stomach can extract those indole opioids.

It may make no difference, but I prefer to stir 4g of kratom into 100mL of water until it is fully hydrated (everything dark-green, no light coloured powder visible), and then drink it.

This doesn't disguise the taste though, but it eliminates the nasty problem of accidentally inhaling powder!



I wonder if anyone has tried making kratom chocolates?
1g of shroom powder easily stirs in to an ice-cube-sized amount of chocolate, and kratom is denser than shroom powder, so to stir, say 2g of kratom into each chocolate would not be difficult.

You can also plug kratom tea rectally, but, unlike normal opiates, the kratom alkaloids are not mind-blowingly soluble in water, so you'd need to use volumes of water and boil it down to a pluggable volume.

I tried it with a small quantity of water and I felt nothing.

Yep.
The easiest way possible for me was always T&W. 
Although everyone else I know here that indulges in Kratom would gag at the sight of me tossing and washing it.
A skinny shot glass always worked best for me.
The point being to get the powder all directly to the back of your throat in one swift toss.
T&W can be a nightmare if you miss and get shit all up in your gums and teeth.

Mixing it in with a fruity yogurt was another effective way to hide the flavor somewhat and be able to get it down in a few spoonfools.

I let the kratom rawdog my throat. No lubrication ever needed beforehand.
As soon as the liquid touches it, it all becomes one anyways and super easy to swallow.
Looks like I may be in the minority when it comes to this.

I started way back with the yogurt TEK.

Do you follow the T&W procedure as hex detailed it above?

I pre mix it with a bit of water in a small jar, then wash it down with more water or coffee/tea.

That is the easiest IME, coffee masks the taste very well. Just drink it slowly so it isn't too hard on the stomach.

No. I never mixed it into the liquid beforehand. 
Sounds like both Hex and musiclover have had success with it.
If it's making you gag as soon as it makes contact with the inside of your mouth, this may be the way to go about it.

I would like to recommend Fairlife chocolate milk as the liquid however. Amazing tasting stuff that's 3x higher in protein than regular milk and half of the calories & fat.

You close tje back of your mouth, fill it with one decent swallow of liquid, look straight up and drop a tsp or two or tbsps in and swallow.

I never taste nor feel kratom except huge ones but I dont mess with it anymore

Interesting. I would take the kratom before the liquid. I have tried your way, and remember not feeling comfortable holding the liquid in my mouth since the kratom would still get all up in my teeth on top of the liquid.

@JSB, with not tolerance my usual dose would vary between 5 and 8 grams. 10-12g's max if I had been using it for a few days in a row.
