Can you guys help me confirm that these mushies I picked are psychedelic

So, I came across a few patches of mushrooms while at work today and couldn't help but think they're psychedelic so I picked as many as I could before they got trampled on by the crew. I live in Washington state and they were growing in the grass in patches throughout the yard. To me they look like some cyans  because the bigger ones started to get wavy. the smaller ones have a hard little nipple in the middle. the only shrooms I know how to identify 100% are gold caps so can any one confirm what they are before I munch them down? and if theyre what I'm hoping should I let them dry first?

Hold out for an expert, but they look like dried out Inocybe to me.... best to not put them anywhere near your mouth, as some (most) of them are toxic..

yeah not anything active, the best way for a newbie i think to find cyanescens(by far the easiest to ID) is make sure your looking for white stems

your stems clearly arent white at all, and thats the best way to tell galerina apart from cyanescens when out picking, spore print will be a dead giveaway as well.

just remember white stipes

thats what i used to distinguish them apart when i first started out.. once you find cyanescens you will be able to ID them pretty easily. imo they are the easiest species to ID by far

Ok thank you guys. And sorry for being "that" guy who picks random mushrooms and thinks there psychedelic haha. I just haven't tripped for a while and saw these and got a little excited

Yea it comes from the psilocon oxidizing is why they turn blue. But there are inactive shrooms that turn blue also.

not all actives will bruise blue either, libs are known to not bruise blue.
they can but its not a common thing

and some with lower potency wont really bruise much or at all, not very many psilocybe stunzii bruise blue

If you just pick up every random mushroom you find and hopehopehope it’s gonna take you a million years to find actives. Research what is actually in your area and what habitats those like and then go from there. Or get everything you find IDed. That’s how I learned but I didn’t really care that much about actives
