Question for u guys....so I've done this process a few times amd just started again...i started my pressure cooker and just realized the god damn fucking rubber thing on the float valve is lost and i cant get pressure...i need to replace that rubber seal...2 things...is that an easy part to replace....and will my jars that i made pf tek be ok for a day pr 2 or should i refull them with fresh shit...lemme know fellow shroom peeps

PF jars don't strictly need to be PCed. Put them in your PC, attach lid, and steam them for 2 hours.

Yes that's the thing that broke...i think im missing the rubber seal? In any case the jars are sitting in the cooker with substrate until i can fix it in a dat or two...will i have to remake the substrate or will it be ok in the jars

sub should be fine what kind of sub are you using it is sealed right. I would try a 3/8 nylon washer from home depot or lowes or this...

If you get that rubber washer and it is too heavy to rise and seal or the washer distorts just use a pair of vise grips to hold it up and seal or wedge something in there. Just be sure to let it slow release and don't remove the wedge or vise grip until the pressure is at 0 psi.

Of course its easy to replace lol go to the hardware store and buy a washer that will work.

Just used a washer for it thanks guys...15 psi for 1.5 hours....the substrate in the jars sat in the PC for an extra day...that should be fine right?
