I used to go to Halloween Horror Nights at universal studios on mushrooms every year. That actually makes it pretty scary. I like to be at least a little buzzed for scary stuff.

Haunted houses are cool, but the problem is that they over sell them so when you go through them you are in line and the people in front of you see the guy jump out first and they get scared, but that spoils the surprise for the people behind them. Corn mazes are cool. Fresh donuts with apple cider! Halloween! Apple Orchards. Cooler temperatures and changing trees. The October moon. Women in sexy costumes. Haunted Hay rides. Costume Parties! Bon fires. Pumpkins. Candy without razor blades. Not big on candy apples but they look cool.

All the good shit! What else did I miss?

I haven't been to one in a long time but it's not really even something that I would typically do

The haunted houses at Universal Studios were awesome. They had this one animatronic guy in a prison cell. He was on the toilet a shitting his brains out and screaming and when he shits they hit you with a splash and it smells like shit.

This other one you had to wear 3D glasses and it was a scary fun house with clowns and 3D shit popping out. The mushrooms made it really scary. It was almost too intense to enjoy.

Yeah we do. We went to fright fest at six flags on sat and we were suppise to go to a corn maze yesterday but they close early on sun.

I went to Universal Studios a couple years ago by myself. It was a miserable experience. The lines were too long and the haunted mazes were so short. The mazes should honestly be a part of the line, leading up to a ride, because the mazes in and of themselves are very anticlimactic and disappointing.

Plus, when you're walking through a "haunted" maze with a neverending trail of people, it's just cheesy. In fact, we could've walked through the most haunted prison in the world, and it wouldn't have been scary, because we're with hundreds of other people.

Also, the workers dressed in costumes would only pop out for the girls who would overreact. I'm a 6' male, so they knew they wouldn't get a reaction out of me, so they'd just hang back. Once or twice somebody popped out for me, and I pretended to react only to show appreciation on my end for their effort. 

It's like Disney Land. Wouldn't do it again, unless I have kids.

I bet Universal Studios makes a dope Haunted Tour.

I'm slightly saddened and excited. Called for a local Ghost research investigation tour in my city, but it was sold out for all tours. Procrastition for the lose :sad:

But, did some research online and found www.nwghosttours.com They are doing a Halloween Night Psychic Investigation Tour in Oregon City, one of Oregon's oldest cities.

Have to admit, im pretty excited for that :datass:

One year I got some extra cash by being the chainsaw guy at a corn maze.  Loads of laughs.

Why do dudes go to those things to act tough?  The nicest guy that worked there had a meathead start yelling at him "WHAT, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT BRO, WHAT?!"

To which the kid replied "Got your ten bucks."

That guy deflated so fast he about flew around.

Today I took my son on a hayride at a pumpkin farm, we picked pumpkins.  On Friday we’re going to an amusement park that has a pretty cool Halloween setup; haunted houses, a show, people jumping out at you, that kind of stuff.  There’s a locally famous corn maze about an hour away, might try to get up there by Halloween.

I look forward to when my 3 year old is a bit older; in the town I grew up in, there’s an old dilapidated hotel that is kept around just for use in October as a haunted house.  It’s HUGE, and a lot of effort goes into it, but it’s a bit too hardcore for him at this point.  He loves Halloween, but I don’t want to traumatize him.  Now that I think of it, it seems unlikely that he’d even be allowed into that haunted house.
