Mixing two different strains
    #25539854 -

Okay so I have two strains of mushrooms at my disposal. One is some kind of Thai strain, and the other one is B+. I’ve tried the Thai before, and it was extremely euphoric and a great body high but not much visuals at all. According to my dealer the B+ aren’t incredibly strong, so I was thinking of doing this: 1.5-2g of the B+ administered through lemon tekk, and then just eating 2-2.5g of the Thai straight up. Reason for doing this is because I want to have the profound visuals that B+ supposedly gives so I want them to be pretty strong hence the lemon tek... but I also don’t want a 2.5 hr trip, so that’d be why i would eat the Thai straight up. What do you guys think ?

From what I've read and I am pretty sure of this, but a cubensis mushroom is a cubensis mushroom, doesn't matter what strain the spore seller says, it is just a hype train for the buyers. The only cube that is accepted by the community to be stronger than the others is penis envy, and you don't mention taking that. You will get the same effect from any "strain" of cubensis mushrooms because none of them have anything different or special about their active alkaloids. Use the shroomery trip levels and the dose calculator to figure out where you want to be and go from there.

Sidenote: if you want better visuals with mushrooms in my experience having lower lighting in the room makes a huge difference for visuals.

Edit: I should have made it clear that you can take 2g of the thai and 1g of the b+ and it would be exactly the same as taking 3g of b+ or 3g of the thai.

I’m by no means an expert and you’re probably more informed than me, but I’m really thinking there’s quite a difference. I’ve read plenty of shroom trip reports and from what I’ve read, shrooms produce visuals that are close to acid, maybe not in the same way but very profound visuals. I’m experienced with acid and I don’t expect the B+ visuals to be anything like it, but I’d like something other than some light tracers and brighter colors, which is all I got with the Thai.

In my experience mushroom visuals are very different from acid. If you're only chasing visuals then with mushrooms you'll have to up the dose. But beware this will also increase the mind trip. I also know people who can take 6g and barely get visuals, but you don't seem to be one of those people if acid affected you like you say.

I am thinking you might have missed my point earlier, b+ and thai are both cubensis mushrooms, so you will have the same effect with both mushrooms at the same dose. There is no point in differentiating them by dose because they only really look different and may perform slightly differently when growing them.
