Went for a look today but didn't find anything. Heaps of inactives though. I'm thinking it might be a few weeks too early in the season? I'll probably wait for other people to start posting their finds before I go searching again, I've lucked out a few times now.

Just north of Bundaberg on Saturday I was able to find one lonely cube and two pan cyans.

I don't think the rainfall pattern has been good enough for a good flash just yet

Oh really? I'm not that far north but that is encouraging to hear. What exact type of rainfall pattern would you say you'd need for a solid flush?

Not as heavy rain, more frequent days with drizzle, not much rain overnight

Haha I know I'm going into specifics here but what range in mm of rain are we talking, like 4 - 10mm?

Honestly it's more the cloud cover during the day. Keep temps between 19-25 and high humidity. Bit of rain helps the microclimate amongst the grass to help mycelium kick off
