Sunday June 7 Late evening New Orleans, LA 78° 99% humidity Days since last rain: 0 Shrooms grew in patches of grass in a cow pasture
Specimens were cut with a small pocket knife right above the scale-like patterns on the stems.
A large Bic cig lighter was used for scale of size.
Other notes: The grass seems to grow taller around these mushrooms.

I need to order equipment for the testing.
There are a lot of different kits and meters available.
Can you recommend any to me.

Just Get The Cheapest Things You Can Find Or Make.
You Could Buy A Temperature Gauge, A Ground Temperature Gauge. You Can Make A Rain Gauge Very Easily, & If You Want To Get Expensive With It, They Make Gauges That Read Damn Near Everything, It Might Even Talk To You

Thanks, I was thinking about the nitrogen and phosphorus.
The meters are for me as I am color blind and struggle with the strips and reagents.
