It's being shoved down everyone's throat. Fucking shows, movies, music, fashion. Cartoons, books, political views. Ok, I made that last one up, but you get what I'm saying. Its fucking everywhere.

Everyone is some kinda gay now.

These poor kids don't stand a chance. Even the ones that are not gay are now questioning their sexuality in fucking elementary school. I know I'm not the only one that sees it either.

Before you get your rainbow panties in a bunch... I have no problem with anyone's sexuality or what they want to do with their life/body. I only have a problem with it being in fucking everything.

I mean shit... I'm starting to question if I'm even straight.  :lol:

it's almost like homosexuals walk in all different facets of our lives and that is being reflected through the media.

when you say these poor kids don't have a chance, a chance at what? what possible harm could come of someone questioning their sexuality? people like to engage in sex of all different flavors, it isn't a big deal unless it isn't consensual.

i personally find stuff like carl's jr's commercials to be revolting as a gay man but i don't bitch about it because it really doesn't affect me at all.

It's easy to not pay attention to this type of stuff when you live in the middle of nowhere, haven't had TV for 9 years, and don't give a shit about it.

Letting it affect you personally is your own choice, homie.

No matter where you are, or what your lifestyle is like, it is your decision to see these things. You aren't subjected to them.

I think what the OP was getting at is that he is already accepting of homosexuality, but the media forcing it on him causes resentment when there wasn’t any before. It’s the same thing with inter racial relationships, trans people, immigration, etc. I can totally see where some kid that feels ignored may enjoy the attention they get by saying they think they are gay or the wrong gender, when they may not actually feel that way. I’m sure there will be some kids that are misled by adults into adopting a new stylish lifestyle to get attention but regret it later, especially once it falls out of the media spotlight.

Y'all are completely missing the point. All I'm saying is it's in everything. It's being pushed and it's being pushed hard. Pun intended.  :datass:

Growing up I never saw or heard anything about being gay in any of my shows movies or music. It was out there buy it wasn't really talked about in the open. Probably out of fear... whatever it was, it wasn't there.

The whole sexual movement has really exploded in the past 5 years which made it much more comfortable to talk about entertainment wise which is perfectly fine by me. Doesn't bother me.

However... you can't sit here and tell me that you don't see or hear it daily.

If you can't understand what I'm saying the you're just as closed minded as the guy who thinks being gay is an abomination.

I agree that a lot of the time they try to shoehorn that stuff in to seem progressive, and sometimes the show or movie or whatever sucks as a result, but the "forcing it on him" part seems like 100% BS.
