How long to wait between trips

Tried about 20 grams of fresh cube last night and didn’t really feel anything. Maybe a slight body high, but didn’t see walls “breathe” like the first time I tried shrooms. I heard the general rule is to wait a week so your tolerance lowers back down. Will I be able to trip with a shroom double the size as the one I had last night or should I just a week?

You can trip everyday if you want, but becaareful not to hurt your eyes from looking so much.

You should dry your shrooms dude, 5 grams dried should do it. Cubes are very powerful.

One reason i don't much care for other Psychedelics and prefer oral DMT, tolerance, DMT has no tolerance, you can dive in as often as you want, which i like.

Yeah, make them cracker dry (put them into a food dehydrator, on onto a hot radiator for two days).
Cracker dry means they break appart easily when you try to bend them.

One shrooms can be super potent, or weak as fuck. It varies from shroom to shroom. Mix and grind several grams of dried shrooms to an even powder, then you ease out those variations.

3.5 grams of dry shroompowder should do the trick. :thumbup:


Also tolerance is real, but only if you "trip".. If you did not feel much one day, then you still can trip good the next day if you take a higher dose.
Only after real trips you should wait a few days between dosing (7 to 10 days).

You don't necessarily have to dry them out - there is *minimal* loss in potency from drying so might as well eat them fresh.  Use the 1/10 rule - dry cubes generally weigh in at 1/10th the weight of wet so for an eighth dry (3.5g) you'd want 35g wet.  Happy trails!

Yeah I don’t mind eating fresh, but drying them out might help them last longer. I also heard lemon juice can intensify a trip if you eat them dry.

I don't think anyone's ever really ready for DMT lol, if you do get into it though i would recommend oral DMT using Harmalas/Rue/Caapi or Moclobemide over smoked/vaped DMT, by far a fuller experience. I also recommend 4 grams of Lemon Balm leaf tea to help smooth out the intense come up, especially for a beginner, turns the normally very intense and chaotic/overwhelming come up into a much smoother/gentler/more relaxed come up and doesn't seem to take away from anything that i've noticed, just alters/flavors things, then when you feel more comfortable with it you can try taking out the Lemon Balm and going for the raw oral DMT experience. But yeah DMT is mega awesome, but also mega intense, but it's definitely more my thing compared to mushrooms or LSD so far.

You should definitely wait at least a week if not 2 weeks if you want them to have full effect. You can trip sooner than that but you have to double up your dose and even then your still not getting all the mushroom has to offer, there are definitely  diminished effects and it just doesn't feel as special or powerful if you dont give your self a break for at least a week but 2 is recommended.
Tolerance is a very real thing and trying to do it every day is just stupid its not only a waist because your not getting full effects from them but its just dumb and not cool to abuse such a sacred and special substance and or teacher. Respect the mushrooms and they will treat you well, when you start abusing them the potential for something bad or unwanted to happen is much more greater.
As long as ive been trippin which is over two decades one of the main rules of thumb  is to wait at very least a week but preferably 2. Most experienced trippers know this.

10 Years.

2 weeks is generally when tolerance resets, but be careful as every mushroom is different potency.

Im glad there are still some experienced heads out there, i keep reading about people on here try to trip more often than once a week which is just a waist and abuse of something so special.
I get it though i wish i could trip more often and feel that special feeling more but over the years ive kind of learned and grown out of wanting to trip so often and save it for special events/occasions. I used to trip every week to two weeks when i first started and i was younger and it kind of ruined my relationship with mushrooms because i burnt my self out with them and did them to much at extremely high doses and now the experience is definitely not what it used to be? I guess you could say i kind of "lost the magic" like when ever i do them anymore its a 50/50 chance that the special feeling that i used to get from them every time, that reborn, rejuvenated at peace with the universe and my mind, all around connected feel just doesn't happen like it used to :frown: and i definitely account that from doing it to much and abusing them when i was young and dumb.
I still have a deep love for them and still study, hunt/identify them every day its definitely one of the best hobbies you can have in my opinion but i kind of ruined it for my self over indulging. So now a days i save them for very special occasions like i do with ayahuasca, more often than not i do LSD when i trip anymore because for one its my number one go to psychedelic, it has taught and shown me so many things and helped me grow as a man to make the right decisions and think before acting. LSD has helped me in so many ways i really dont want to get going about it because i could ramble on forever  lol but i still hold a place in my heart for mushrooms and would never change or give up any of the experiences ive had with them, they have changed me for the better as well but it just isn't what it used to be for me these days sadly but i still partake on occasion to make sure what magic is left i can still enjoy and feel.

Don’t get me wrong I respect mushrooms, but I’m just eager to experience an actual trip. So far I’ve only had a minor level 2 and 1 trip. I’m hoping this next shroom is enough for at least a level 3. Once I get to experience something like that I’ll probably respect mushrooms even more than I do now.

That's good your eager and you want to experience more of a heavy trip and you say you respect them but if you don't let your tolerance reset you won't experience a lvl 3 trip or anything deeper and you won't have a true understanding what a lvl 3 trip is like because your tolerance hasn't reset it self there for making you think that is what a lvl 3 trip is like and in actuality it would be way stronger had you just waited and been patient. It's a waist to rush it because you won't be getting full effects out of the mushrooms if you do them to soon. Being eager is one thing but being stupid and trying to rush things and trying to force the mushrooms to give you what you want when you haven't had a tolerance break doesn't sound very respectful to me?
