My PS4 seems to be doing just fine and I get all the exclusives that I want.  Doesn't seem obsolete to me. :shrug:

Consoles are far from obsolete.

I would argue they are getting more PC-like every year. Hence "Next Gen Consoles".

Steam machines were gimmicky. Steam OS even more so.

Literally no point to them at all.

Not everyone likes playing on a PC or sitting in front of one. There's been countless times where my wife and I have sat down and played COD and other 2 player games together or 1 player games that we sat down and played together from the comfort of our couch.

Let me ask you? How much does a decent gaming PC cost? I'm not about to drop that kind of cash just to game.

From the dawn if time there has been the feud between consoles and PC. Both have pos and neg. For me, the pos out weigh the neg for consoles.

There will always be the PC snob and that's fine. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I built my gaming computer for under $600 a few years ago and it far out performed a PS4 and I could have done it for much cheaper if I sourced out parts more. It's very comparable to the cost of a console and you can do so much more with it or change parts when you want to upgrade.

My computer is hooked right to my main TV and I do all my gaming from the couch. Steam sells this device for $2 that lets you play in any room, even if your computer isn't in there. It's pretty awesome and simple. The only drawback really is sometimes it takes like 2min to program the controller right.

Malcom your video game system is obsolete and inferior. Just because it works doesn't mean it isn't obsolete. Your flip phone still works, but is obsolete. My PC is proudly on display when people come over. I bet you throw a towel or something over that console to hide it from your guests.

I played all the things.
Been on a binding of isaac kick lately.
LoL got old again, cant seem to win much.
Stopped playing starcraft like 4 years ago after I hit diamond tier.

Fallout 76, cyberpunk 2077 are coming out so I probably wont be extroverted for a few months.
