It's a stropharia species. Where are you in this small world? Are you hunting pasture lands, grasslands, forest?

Thanks for ID. Located in Scotland. Will mostly be looking in grasslands as I am going to walk
the sub 2000 hills surrounding.

I didn't pick it or smell it during the time I was looking, so couldn't say. Wish I had a now. I enjoy pepper

Well, anyhow, this is the one I was thinking https://www.first-nature.com/fungi/stropharia-pseudocyanea.php Someone else had one similar from Scotland lately. But also check out the 'similar species' at the bottom of the page of that link.
