i will say when i was younger this website as well as erowid and bluelight really helped me understand what some things were. like when a dealer acquaintance tried to pass mescaline off on me and it was a tiny capsule of white power i was like na, im good on 2cxx whatever it probably is.

i had a friend doing vial after vial of Rc's, he seems to be doing well still but he also doesn't have to work (trust fund) so that helps his mental situation immensely. i am curious if he has vision issues.

i think the forums referencing drugs TPE/ODD are pretty on point but it would make the mods lives easier if the community banded together to deal with the issue of mental health and dose consumption in a unified cohesive way. 

maybe a slight change to the rules about escalating situations could be in order, but in balance to the proportion of the problem. i would imagine most of the transgressions could be traced to a small core of users that are generally bored and follow a malicious posting style to entertain themselves.

also hard to take it too seriously when there are 5 to 10 new sunshine/patal threads a day that scream troll/cry for mental help. that will bring out the trolls as the situation is not being dealt with seriously across the board.

We have a forums specifically for people to ask for help in.  I'm not sure we can force them there though.  People like to "play a role" when they make accounts on forum sites and there will always be a sunshine or patlal or fiery or whomever.  The pub is supposed to be a place for general (mostly friendly) discussion so it's a bit hard to push back against it to much when someone is not outright breaking a rule of being disruptive.

In other sections though such as ODD, or P&MWB rules are stricter and more enforced.

yea i don't take it too seriously, although i think more people here are bat shit crazy vs playing a role :rofl: psychedelics can really change peoples minds and loosen their grasp of reality.

i was just pondering how much of it is a response to the content of the original post that is opening the door to trolling/encouragement of bad choices as opposed to the number of people signing on for that main purpose.
