All 8 jars are showing solid recovery after 24hrs of second shake so I am thinking for a syringe inoculation, I may just have some clean spawn on my hands!

Still no signs of contamination! Keeping fingers crossed that they all keep progressing nicely between now and spawn time when I get back from my trip.
Wish me luck!!!  :lookslucrative:

Last set of pics till I get back from my trip and it is time to spawn!
Can't wait to see how these pint jars are going to do. Finally made a decision and am going to go with a 34qt UnBODified to straight coir!

Happy shrooming everyone and see you back in a week!

im not talking about the shaking. im talking about this thought process.

why would it be a problem? thats all.

Eventually fully colonized jars pin and can pool metabolites. They would still be fine, but i guess its ideal to start the spawn run at full colonization. people are pretty "superstitious" about following these steps, it seems. i dont like to keep fully colonized jars just hanging around, either.

Well my jars are fully colonized and will probably be completely consolidated upon my return (If not already lol), but for now are chilling all by there lonesome waiting for me to get back. Can't wait to prep my substrate and finally spawn these beauties! :jah:

So I have returned and have my substrate cooling now and is almost ready for spawning my jars to the following setup...

The small shoebox is for one that is causing me to be suspicious and have decided to spawn by itself just in case...

The rest of my pint jars will be spawned to the 34qt unmodified...

My only problem is deciding which of the above images I should keep for my G2G transfer? Was going to keep 2 jars, but have opted to use one instead due to my suspicious jar being spawned solo!
Anyone care to help in my selection? Spawning in about an hour or two. Updated pics to come!

Finally used my C/V substrate (650g brick 1.5qt verm +4.25Qts water) at 88F and by the time everything was mixed in the tub it was 83F. The house is a constant 74F so it should regulate easy enough.
One 34Qt unBODified mono 1:2 ratio with 6 pint jars...

And one 6L shoebox 1:3 ratio with one pint jar...

Slight psuedo casing on each.
Day 1 Colonization

Only running the one variety atm so felt no need to label, and my jars were kept in the same position throughout colonizing so were easily identifiable. Any further reference needed on dates can be found here in my growlog for this grow. Will be labeling future grows, as it was not easy remembering which one colonized the fastest or germinated first etc.

This variety blows my mind every time! I have done BRF and this is my first time with WBS (finch) and am loving it! First shake, second shake and now after spawning... The recovery time is crazy fast! Can't wait to see them fruit!

I've been experiencing the same thing with the Stropharia and its very energizing to work with compared to what I'm used to. Its the first time I've been motivated to keep a culture going instead of just starting fresh from spores

Looking good :justcantwait:
