To me it sounds like they are trying to suck Canada into fear.

No, don't you know they wouldn't attack Cananda.
They only attack us and those who support us because of our foreign policy. Canada opposed the war.

I hate to say it, but you guys were right about the terrorists. Well, certain terrorists. These fuckers apparently are driven by blind hate for other religions. I still don't support the way we've handled the terrorist threat, but I'll agree that with some of these people, there's just no reasoning with them. That said, they still have to win the trust and support of the less radical Muslims in order to get the kind of protection they do, and if we go in there bombing them indiscriminately, the more moderate Muslims will be more inclined to agree with the extremists that America needs to be stopped. Sorry for going off on a tangent like that.

Quote from replies: ""They only time I'll take one of these "liberal" Muslims seriously is when they renounce Islam and convert to Christianity. "
What good would converting from one freakassmonkeypeople religion to another one do?
How about if all the Christians and Muslims just convert to not being dumbasses?"
Funniest thing I've read in a long time.

Jews, Christians, Muslims, all shitty religions. Now Buddhism, that is a religion worth acknowledging. Though I'd never become a member of a religion, I'd integrate an enlightened religion's philosophies into my own, and Buddhism is the most enlightened religion I've ever seen.

I hate to say but if you read some of the peoples post's youll find out they are plain batshit crazy. Listen to this gem of a quote.
{The solution? Put them out of their misery, and ship them back to the deserts where they came from.}
{I'll take one of these "liberal" Muslims seriously is when they renounce Islam and convert to Christianity}
This sounds like some very reasonable people.

Yes, I didn't get the "I'll take one of these "liberal" Muslims seriously is when they renounce Islam and convert to Christianity." What the hell would that accomplish? As if there are no Christian terrorists? (Look to the Crusades, look to modern day Ireland.) And Islam embraces many of the same concepts as Christianity: monotheism, Christ as a prophet, no killing except in radical situations (which has been exploited, the Koran puts it rather reasonably but, like all documents, its words have been twisted,) no stealing, no raping, no pre-marital sex, etc. And much more often I have seen Christians converting to Islam rather than vice versa, as many Christians aren't very serious about their religion while Muslims are. The Church panders to Christians, it has changed the Bible so much with every new "edition" that I doubt it even resembles the original Bible. The Koran has stayed the same, and asides from Sunni and Shi'ite, an argument over the predecessors of the prophet or such matters, there are no divisions in Islam. Christianity has hundreds.

Seems to me that any monotheistic religion is inherently intolerant of other religions, since your god's existence precludes the possibility of anyone else's god or gods.

Does nobody bother to educate themselves before they jump on stage and start preaching?
Why don't you two (and I suspect many others need to as well) go and research the real history of the Crusades. It will be informative, I promise.

i'd be the last to defend the Arabs that live here. They all cause shit and act SO bitter. I guarantee every arab at least knows somebody who is up to no good. Send them to camps, I'll be there with hanky waving them off.
