^^I've always liked the passive technique for Martha's, though YMMV.  I agree with Explicit on the fan FAE idea.

After looking at your pictures again it seems like some of your trays have nice droplets and some don’t. Martha’s require active air exchange which means you need to flush the humid air out, many people use a small PC blowing air out of the GH, then replenish it with fresh humid air from the ultrasonic. This cycle needs to happen multiple times a day and requires you to dial it in to achieve the best results. Cubes are pretty CO2 tolerant so your passive system with holes may work, keep an eye on the fruits as they develope and look for signs of low FAE like fuzzy feet and skinny fruits.

So I'm wondering if I should even dial it in and just get rid of the timers. Maybe I'll keep the humidifier going 24/7 as well as the fan pushing all the humid air out.im  even tempted to make another hole or two to up the FAE.

You need to make a decision on active or passive and dial it in from there. Martha’s need to be dialed in or you’ll never get consistent results or any at all. Like I said before cubes are one of the more CO2 tolerant species so you’re passive system might work, you have pins which is a start now see what they do to find out how to dial it in better.

Yeah when I got started up I went with the Martha also based off some teks I saw, but with working a regular 6am-5am job I couldn't find time to dial it in without spending more money then I wanted to so I just went with shoeboxes and mini/ regular mono tubs. I'm producing wayyyyy more mushrooms in a smaller space and worrying wayy fucking less about dialing shit in.

I did monotubs  for two years, I felt like they were high maintenance. I was Fanning and misting all day. I thought the Martha would be better for bulk gross. I'm getting concerned as I moved the fan to a better venting area as seen in the pictures and my mushrooms look so skimpy. should I cut a hole on the bottom, stuff it with polyfill and aim a fan at it to get more fresh air in there?

Martha’s can be less maintenance but again that’s only after they’re dialed in, I struggled with mine for months  when I was doing edibles. Based off what those fruits look like you need more FAE but pumping more air in won’t necessarily fix the issue, you need a way for the humid CO2 laiden air to escape, which is why most people use a PC fan pushing the air out near the top. So if your going with a more passive system you’ll need holes at the top loosely stuffed with poly or with some micropore tape.  Also get an analog hygrometer that you can calibrate and move it around your GH to ensure your getting good distribution.

Ok so I can poke a hole or 2 at the ceiling of the Martha, stuff with polyfil and aim the fan up. I'm assuming co2 rises and stagnates that way?

Then you did it wrong for two years. You shouldn't need to mist a large mono pre flush one and fanning is 1000% pointless imo.

Try doing monos properly, then tell us they are high maintenance.

I did do it wrong. I wanted bulk grows and used tubs the size of a house... far too big for a regular mono. But that's besides the point. I want to get this Martha set correctly. I just took my RH meter out to dry and when I put it back in I'm only able to get the RH up to 70% on the hour that my humidifier is off. It looks like my gauge gets saturated with water and sticks at 99%  once the humidifier has been on for an hour. I have to figure something out because the holes I'm leaving open are making the conditions dry and still not letting in enough fresh air.

You didn't need a new design. You just needed to dial in your monotubs. There is nothing more set and forget than a properly dialed in monotub.

nothing wrong with 106qt tubs. people post amazing pics of them before. maybe try monos again.. it hasnt been ..8yrs?

2 layers micro pore tape on bottom holes and 1 on top holes. If your in a dry climate start with 2 layers on top holes, or run a home humidifyer in the room if it is really dry. When knotts start to form remove 1 layer of bottom tape. After a couple days when pin set is in, remove top layer of tape. Doing this I mist very little. I usually only mist 1 time a day after I start seeing knotts. Fanning is pointless when the tub is designed for air exchange.

Thanks for the advice!

So just to make it clear, i currently have two holes on the front... so 2 layers of tape there?

cut out __ (1 or 2 holes on top?) amount of holes on top and cover with 2 layers of tape?

Remove tape as you stated with an end result of having 1 layer on ALL holes once fruiting is in full effect?

What are your thoughts on the small fan inside? Will it matter where i aim it once those holes are in?

wait are you talking about monotubs? I really want to work on this Martha for now. I appreciate the help and will try monos again in the future but im really just looking for help with the martha at this point.

If you really want to run the martha here is what I want to do for one for oysters.

I want to basically attach the Martha over a swamp cooler style humidifier. The top will have an exhaust fan pulling air through the whole thing, basically a vacuum on it. The swamp cooler setup will soak water up through wick material, which air will be sucked through, thus humidifying the air, which will pass up through the Martha and exit through an exhaust fan, and for me outside due to spore load from oysters. I would think consistent FAE that is pulled through a humidification process should work.

Alright now you got my attention; your approach sounds simple but i have no idea what a swamp cooler system is but i THINK im understanding the concept. is there a tek with photos? if you're willing to expand on this method ill be the guinea pig and do it.

If your growing cubes you won’t need a continuous flow, I used to run my fan sucking out for 5 minutes every hour immediately followed by my ultrasonic for 10 minutes. Oysters require much more FAE thus the continuous flow he’s talking about.
