Hormesis is just a dose response curve wherein small doses within a specific range produce more desirable effects than larger doses. The effects you experience from taking a substance, whether or not it is hormetic, will dependent on the substance's pharmacodynamic properties. Ionizing radiation is supposedly hormetic but you won't find me being a guinea pig for that. I do find a lot of evidence, including personal experience, suggesting that curcuminoids are very beneficial.
