Sugar Magnolia, blossoms blooming Heads all empty and I don't care Saw my baby down by the river Knew she'd have to come up soon for air
Sweet blossom, come on under the willow We can have high times if you'll abide We can discover the wonders of nature Wading in the rushes down by the riverside
She's got everything delightful She's got everything I need Takes the wheel when I'm seeing double Pays my ticket when I speed
She comes skimming through rays of violet She can wade in a drop of dew She don't come and I don't follow Waits backstage while I sing to you
She can dance a Cajun rhythm Jump like a Willys in four wheel drive She's a summer love in the spring, fall and winter She can make happy any man alive
Sugar Magnolia Ringing that bluebell Caught up in sunlight Come on out singing and I'll walk you in the sunshine Come on honey, come along with me
She's got everything delightful She's got everything I need A breeze in the pines and the sun and bright moonlight Lazing in the sunlight, yes indeed
Sometimes when the cuckoo's crying When the moon is half way down Sometimes when the night is dying I take me out and I wander around I wander round
Sunshine, daydream, walking in the tall trees, going where the wind goes Blooming like a red rose, breathing more freely, Ride our singin?, I?ll walk you in the morning sunshine Sunshine, daydream. sunshine, daydream. walking in the sunshine.

Scarlet Begonias As I was walkin' round Grosvenor Square Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air From the other direction she was calling my eye It could be an illusion but I might as well try... Might as well try She had rings on her fingers and bells on her shoes, I knew without askin' she was into the blues She wore Scarlet begonias tucked into her curls I knew right away she was not like other girls... other girls In the heat of the evening when the dealing got rough She was too pat to open and too cool to bluff As I picked up my matches and was closing the door I had one of those flashes: I'd been there before... been there before I ain't often right but I've never been wrong It seldom turns out the way it does in this song Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right Well there ain't nothin' wrong with the way she moves Scarlet begonias or a touch of the blues And there's nothing wrong with the look that's in her eye I had to learn the hard way to let her pass by... let her pass by The wind in the willows played Tea for Two The sky was yellow and the sun was blue Strangers stopping strangers just to shake their hand Everybody's playing in the Heart of Gold Band... Heart of Gold Band... edit: instant smiley overload

(After Extended Musical Journey)
Long distance runner what you standing there for? Get up, get off, get out of the door You're playing cold music on the bar room floor, drowned in your laughter and dead to the core There's a dragon with matches loose on the town Take a whole pail of water just to cool him down
Fire - Fire On the Mountain Fire - Fire on the mountain
Almost aflame still you don't feel the heat Takes all you got just to stay on the beat You say it's a living, we all gotta eat but you're here alone there's no one to compete If mercy's in business I wish it for you More than just ashes when your dreams come true
Fire - Fire on the mountain Fire - Fire on the mountain
Long distance runner what you holdin out for? Caught in slow motion in your dash to the door The flame from your stage has now spread to the floor You gave all you got, why you wanta give more? The more that you give, why, the more it will take to the thin line beyond which you really cannot fake
There's a fire Fire on the mountain

Just happen to have this on on right now!
Attics of My Life
In the attics of my life, full of cloudy dreams unreal. Full of tastes no tongue can know, and lights no eyes can see. When there was no ear to hear, you sang to me.
I have spent my life seeking all that's still unsung. Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see. When there was no strings to play, you played to me.
In the book of love's own dream, where all the print is blood. Where all the pages are my days, and all the lights grow old. When I had no wings to fly, you flew to me, you flew to me.
In the secret space of dreams, where I dreaming lay amazed. When the secrets all are told, and the petals all unfold. When there was no dream of mine, you dreamed of me.
-------------------- The bus came by and I got on that's when it all began!

I might as well hop on the bandwagon, this is one of my favourites lately.
I can't stay much longer, Melinda, The sun is getting high. I can't help you with your troubles, If you won't help with mine. I gotta get down, I gotta get down, I gotta get down to the mine.
You keep me up just one more night, I can't sleep here no more. Little Ben clock says quarter to eight; You kept me up 'till four. I gotta get down, I gotta get down, Or I can't work there no more.
A lotta poor man make a five dollar bill, Keep him happy all the time. Some other fella's makin nothin' at all And you can hear him cry, "Can I go, buddy, can I go down Take your shift at the mine?"
Gotta get down to the Cumberland Mine. Gotta get down to the Cumberland Mine. That's where I mainly spend my time. Make good money, five dollars a day. Made anymore, I might move away.
Lotta poor man got the Cumberland Blues He can't win for losin' Lotta poor man got to walk the line Just to pay his union dues. I don't know now, I just don't know If I'm goin' back again.
