Hi we found these, only one of the whole lot has bruised blue/black and Im waiting on spore prints. Does anyone know what they are and if they're active?

Its a Panaeolus sp. Not sure which one :shrug:

All are Panaeolus antillarum which is edible - except for the one to the right in photo 2 which is staining blue, that one is Panaeolus cyanescens and is active.

Thanks a lot for the reply guys. Is there anything else I should look out for to tell the in-active from the actives other than bluing? The 1 active pan seemed to be the smallest of the bunch, is that a normal trend or I just so happened to find a small active?

It's normal compared to the panaeolus antillarum. P. Antillarum has a thicker stem and the cap is glossy looking. Post your finds here before eating any mushrooms please.

I see one pan can with blue on it the rest are antillarum

Certainly you have a couple Panaeolus Cyanescens.

Not sure about the others. Could be Psathyrella
