Something had to be done about my weight. I weighed 371 lbs, more than a pound for every day of the year, it just was way too much.
I took my time thinking up a combination of diet, exercise and supplements which should get the job done.
On Halloween 2017 I cast the first stone by ordering a quality 32-times folded Japanese Chef's Knife because it became abundently clear to me that the battle for the second half of my life will be fought in the kitchen, cooking foods from scratch, and to symbolize that transition I got the Chef's Knife I always wanted to get but never got around to, the Kai Shun Classic Chef's Knife:

Symbolism is important when making changes, and committing to a high grade, high end chef's knife was a very powerful, positive leap towards the impending change.
Next up was the Diet & Supplements plan:

"Bodybuilding style" is the best way to put it, I'm maximizing retention of muscle by eating a good amount of protein (and the weekly morning dose of 5mg D-bol on the day of most strenuous exercise) and I eat considerable amounts of starch. Once a week I have 1 dinner where I cobnsiderably overeat to let metabolism know that it isn't a starvation situation so that it can keep the juices flowing and just burn body fat like there is no tomorrow.
Its very un-keto yet it works great.
Quote: What I use in supplements:
BREAKFAST: 1x Source Naturals Life Force tablet w/o iron (very good energizing multi) 1x 1 gram Vitamin C (collagen synthesis, reversal nitro tolerance, immune system) 1x 100mg Coenzyme Q10 (optimization of cell metabolism & food energy efficiency) 1x 400 iu Vitamin E (fat soluble antioxidant vitamin, plaque removal) 1x 1gr Fish Oil (heart, brain, Omega 3 fats) 1x 2gr Sarcosine (mental health supplement) 1x 3gr Xylitol (calcium transporter for bones & teeth, anticaries, sweetens my coffee)
DINNER: 1x Source Naturals Life Force tablet w/o iron (very good energizing multi) 1x 1 gram Vitamin C (collagen synthesis, reversal nitro tolerance, immune system) 1x 1gr Fish Oil (heart, brain, Omega 3 fats)
Quote: On a typical day I eat something like:
10:00 - banana + coffee + Breakfast supplements
12:00 - 3 slices multigrain bread, 1 slice cheese, nut butter (lol), 250ml fat free quark (22.5gr milk proteins) + 3gr xylitol + 1 tsp Psyllium Husk (to delay absorption of the meal, increase satiation intensity & duration & make good shit)
15:00 - 2 slices multigrain bread + 1 slice cheese + 2 eggs fried in butter
18:00 - 250-500gr veggies of choice, 10 organic fish fingers (175gr fish + 60gr starch) fried in coconut oil + Dinner supplements + 1 tsp Psyllium Husk (to delay absorption of the meal, increase satiation intensity & duration & make good shit)
1 x 1.5 liter bottle carbonated mineral water (water/minerals/CO2) over the course of the evening to enhance daily intake of water and add a "treat"
21:00 - 2 slices multigrain bread + nut butter (lol2) + banana
00:00 - 2 slices multigrain bread + 1 slice cheese + 250ml fat free quark (22.5gr milk proteins) + 3gr xylitol + 1 tsp Psyllium Husk (to delay absorption of the meal, increase satiation intensity & duration & make good shit)
As you see a starchy, moderately proteinaceous, moderate fat diet where much of the protein is highly assimilable milk protein. (in essence 250gr fat free quark equals a bodybuilding whey supplement of 22.5gr protein, with the lactose of a glass of milk and no fat - eaten with starch so the protein gets packed on instead of burned for calories and sweetened with xylitol to make the most of the calcium it contains) Typical meat is fish, the daily nuts are spread as nut butter over the bread as eating loose nuts is too compulsive. Lots of vegetables + 2 pieces of high-mineral fruit a day. 2 eggs and the main staple for much of the day is bread, and then the bread more so than what's on it. The 10gr/day target of xylitol is met for tooth regeneration and anticaries, and this xylitol is used to sweeten coffee and quark so no artifical sweeteners are used. Almost absent in the diet is Sucrose, added sugar, and Fructose is <15gr as per WHO guideline. Pre-breakfast is a banana and 1 cup of coffee to wake my metabolism up, the serious meal at lunch has 3 slices of bread to build up glycogen that will serve me for the rest of the day. The diet is also supplement heavy, and for good reason. The added psyllium husk increases satiation thus that at times I skip the 15:00h or 21:00h meals without even noticing.
This is what I call "not even trying", if I think I might get hungry in a bit, its already time to eat.
A 370 355 lbs body requires a lot of energy to maintain, especially if you work out (I bike/swim several hours 2-3x a week)
With that, I was good to go!
I had the plan to try start January 1, 2018 a full 10kg/22lbs lighter. Wouldn't that be a good start of the next year?
So there I was..

That's the starting point. I switched gears on the first of November I kicked into high gear. And oh my God - it worked with a vengeance!
November 1, 2017 Diet Zero Point 168.5kg = 371 lbs

December 1, 2017 1 Month Point 161.5kg = 355 lbs 7kg / 15.4 lbs lost

December 15, 2017 1.5 Month Point 159.5kg = 351 lbs 9 kg / 20 lbs lost

Please comment freely. No, I won't do low carb, I did that years ago and it made me feel ill in several ways and that same year of stuffing all that animal fat up my gullet I had a heart attack. Coincidence perhaps but, no. Keto is not for me. You see what I'm doing, the gist of it, its what worked for my body before, if you have advice, support, see critical flaws etc, by all means bring it up.
