Phoenix Oysters - Stringy Fruits?
    #2469524 -

It is fruiting, but they are really small, with pointy tips and stringy...kinda odd. The tips of the fruits are slightly pale yellow... is this normal?

Tried to look for a just starting out pic of these oysters but couldnt find one.

I give it a lot of air exchange too.

"a lot of air exchange" compared to typical cubensis fruiting conditions can still be inadequate for oysters, they REALLY don't tolerate CO2 buildup well. They'll still fruit, but the mushrooms will be very abundant (tons of pins) and nearly all stem. the caps are much better eating, so extremely good air exchange is crucial to getting nice fruits for cooking with. If I remember right, the fruiting parameters in TMC say something like 4-5 air exchanges per hour. If you have sufficient air exchange, your pins should look something like this, also phoenix oysters:

yeah, DH is right: they need a lot of fresh air, quite a lot of light and a RH between 92-99.
