17 hours after drinking 8 beers. will I blow zero on a breathalyzer?

I rarely drink the day before probation. I did yesterday though. I drank 8 beers. I'll have to blow into a breathalyzer at 10 am this morning.  Will I still register having alcohol in my system on a breathalyzer by then?  Anyone with experience that would know for sure?  I just got back from the gym and ran pretty vigorously for 2 20 minute sets. Worked up a good sweat. Took some green tea extract, vitamin b.  Drinking a lot of water with lemon juice in it.  I should be good by then you think?

i'm no expert, but i feel you will be fine.  brush yo' teef, no mouthwash, i'm sure you know what to do.  drink all the water. eat a good meal.

Right on. A Lil paranoid because a few weeks ago I blew numbers the next morning.  I drank quite a bit more though.  I had like 10 natty ices.  And a 48 Oz pitcher of bud at the bar.  So that equates to about 14 beers.  I stopped drinking around 8 pm.  Had my breathalyzer at 10 am and blew numbers.  I drank a significant amount less yesterday and stopped at around 5 pm. Maybe a little earlier. Test at 10 am.

Unless your underweight or a female... you should be fine... Theres plenty of calculators online to roughly calculate BAC

Right on. I guess I just drank way too much the last time and didn't give enough time. I figured as long as I gave at least twelve hours I'd of been fine but I basically went to sleep drunk and woke up and went to probation. Considering I didn't exercise or drink much water or eat much is poll what made it still in my system. Those things are hello sensitive though so I was a Lil paranoid.  From now on I'm giving at least like 20 hours just to be safe.

sounds like maybe instead of having to do all this crazy drunken math every time, it might be better to slow it down a bit with the drinking? just a thought. i mean, at least till you get off paper.

Easy fix... eat a very large meal.. bread and the likes absorbes alcohol..

Sounds to me like you may have a problem with alcohol. My inability to stop when I want after I start drinking is why I call myself an alcoholic. Good luck with the fight...after all else fails, you may wanna try AA.:peace:

The average male of 80kg/180lbs processes 1 alcohol measure in one hour.

Some airline pilots have a bottle-to-throttle rule of 8-12 hours (Whereas others have blood alcohol limits). I guess it'll be expected that they are mature enough to not get completely wasted, and suffer a day or two of a killer hangover.
