If he wants to grow 5 to 10 pouns a month, then he wont be using either of these methods.
A MMGG Cake yields some 5 gramm dried mushrooms. If your friends friend wants to have 10 pounds a month, he would need to make 1000(!) cakes - I wish him luck.

Lebowsky, growing mushrooms is nothing you can push. It takes time and patience then it can be a very rewarding hobby.
Forget the 10 pounds a month - or buy a mushroom farm ;-)!

To get 10 pounds a month I suggest jeffery lebowski's friend to move to florida and just go out shroom hunting everyday. He will easily get 10 pounds a month.

Where is Lebowsk's friend from?

He can use either one, but the teks which incorporate a casing (ike the Shroom Wizard?s Tek) tend to produce s litle higher yields, but are more prone to contamination (at least for a beginner).
Read the Growing Section of the Shroomery and make up your own mind.

I'm pretty sure my FOAF will be carefull and not get any contams. My FOAF says thanks :smile:. My FOAF is gonna start casing for the first time in a around 5 days. My FOAF is gonnna case with about 100 jars.

Use MMGG for the first time. do a search for keywords mmgg, PF, and first time posted by me for me telling a million people why I think this in great detail usually.
