But if you are within the eye of the storm or near it, evacuate, if you're in an apartment building. Don't be dumb and stay behind. I say that now because the gulf coast states have been getting slammed with hurricanes in the past years. And people down here learned their lesson too.

Also, RIP to the one person who died. And to any others...

Well wind is starting to pick up here.. They've said this hurricane is going to "breathe", during the day things will be calm, then at night, all hell breaks loose. Definitely windier tonight than it was last night. So I guess round 2? I might go sit outside for awhile.. There's a lot of lightning and stuff lighting up the sky, and the gusts feel really good since it's been so hot lately.

Kinda looks like it's starting to fall apart. Maybe this shit is going to end up being as uneventful as the Mayweather fight :lol:

Right now we're getting the worst rain/wind we've had and it's not even bad at all. Lot of thunder and lightning, I was sitting in my front door just watching and recording on my phone hoping to get a good shot of a lightning bolt but it's mostly just arcing across the sky and lighting everything up like daylight.

Power went down for a minute, but it's back up. We're getting nailed really fucking hard. My entire yard is a lake. Street is a river. Power is flickering constantly. Lightning is basically striking just overhead, it's loud as fuck.

Oh and lmao, when I went to go look last there was a car driving through the river.. Well I should say coasting, because the engine was fucking dead, it literally stopped in front of my neighbor's house.. No idea who the dude is but he's a dumb ass. Wasn't a junk car either. I think it was like a BMW or Lexus, but maybe a Toyota or something as well. Definitely a new car.
