Reddening lepiota?

Hey all, found this today while walking with the family and me and my son are trying to identify it! We found it on a stump by itself, the gills are attached to the stem and it has no ring on the stem. From looking at pictures it looks like a reddening lepiota, but would like to be sure. Thanks in advance!




We also found a nice little patch of chanterelles.

Looks more like a Neolentinus species. A Lepiota would have free gills and grow on the ground. In your specimen the gills are attached and it was growing on wood.
