Whole mushroom bruised purple... Is this a Lepiota?!?!

This past weekend, I was able to enjoy a wonderful mushroom hunt, camping, and "mountain" biking (mountains in SW Ohio?!?!) excursion at an Ohio State Park.
During my mushroom foray, I found maybe a little less than 100 chanterelles, mostly bug-ridden of course, some nice clumps of Ramaria stricta, a beautiful scaly blue-green Russula virescens (spotted by my bf), another small red Russula, a few red and yellow boletes, and a some others I couldn't identify including this dainty beauty...

After ignoring my boyfriend for hours, I searched high and low through Mushrooms Demystified and finally came to a conclusion: I don't know what the heck this mushroom is!!
arrrrrrrrgh
The details: CAP: ~2.5 cm, perfectly round and convex, bright white with I'd say tan-colored scales. Appears slightly striate under scales. Both scales and cap instantly bruise a dark purple upon handling. The pics do no justice for the color!! The center of the cap had a tan eye but was not umbonate and !surprise! it bruised purple.
GILLS: Free, close, bright white, also instantly bruising dark purple when brushed with my fingers.
STALK: ~7 cm long, .5 cm thick, smooth, white, bruising purple, also had a basal bulb (pretty sure it wasn't a volva)
VEIL: formed a very thin but complete annulus, bruising purple. Left a few shaggy remnants on the margin of the cap. I did not find any younger specimens, so I don't know what the veil would've looked like.
SPOREPRINT: I set it on a printed park map which had a white background, and the next morning I didn't see anything, so either the sporeprint was white, or it hadn't dropped any.
HABITAT: terrestrial, fairly wet mixed forest in SW Ohio
So my best guess would be a Lepiota. If that is so, I really want to know what species it is.

The white spore print would be an indicator of a possible Lepiota and it looks like it. Possible Lepiota atrodisca or Lepiota roseifolia? Note the former should bruise redish.

Those are some good guesses, and it's closer in comparison to the L. roseifolia but this one definitely bruises a royal purple.
thanks, tho

I found this:
Leopiota lilacea http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immagine:Lepiota_lilacea.jpg
From my search results of this species, most of the pages are from various European countries and i cannot find any good translations

It certainly looks and sounds like a Lepiota. The species will be a lot more difficult. I'm afraid that my only good key to the genus requires a microscope.
If you *really* want to know, try contacting Dr Else Vellinga. She's the current authority on the genus Lepiota, and a really nice person.
Happy mushrooming!

I suppose getting in contact with this lady for a positive identification would require a sporeprint? I tossed mine when I left camp Sunday afternoon :P
I guess I don't *really* want to know that bad, I just figured it might be something rare since it's not ID'ed in the book I own.
Thanks for the advice, ToxicMan
