A typical funeral service today is remarkably similar to one from 50 years ago. A funeral home will display the embalmed body, perhaps in an open casket, while a religious leader who may not have known the deceased reads a few prayers. It’s impersonal, stilted, and, at an average of $8,000 a funeral, expensive.

I think the war machine has gone quiet we need a real war to shake things up a bit. Really get the economy going. Trump says he wants to create jobs a great war will create jobs.

I feel like it brings closure though. Sure, it cost hella money, but when you're in that position, for some it may help grieve. It's fucked up how much it costs, yea, but fuck what are you gonna do ??

In all seriousness I think the cost is to much its a traumatic time making it financially difficult just adds to the stress.

its just like what the nazis did, throw em in the oven and forget about it

not many people really get buried anymore, but you can be damn sure im not gonna let my body be incinerated

i wanna go back to the earth, actually im gonna put in my will i dont even want a coffin because who cares about that anyway?

i just want to be thrown ass naked into a pit and buried while everyone watches, oh and i want to be face down so people can see my tattoos one last time before im gone for good:smile:

The peeps who work in the industry are hella sketchy..

I was at a funeral once, the dude at the cementary who surpervises everything or sumshit, wearing a fancy suit, was stepping all over the other gravestones, and there was clearly a sign like right there that said not to step on the gravestones, but this dude gave 0 fucks.. And u know when peeps throw stuff in the grave? Well this dude just stood by the grave watching what everyone was throwing in, and I got the impression that he was probably looking for jewelry and whatnot to pocket later..

it's def too much man, to think that peeps have made death a lucrative business..
