'Cross tolerence'?

Is there a cross tolerence between certain psychedelics? If I was to take LSD frequently, would this effect the strength of mushroom trips?

yeah, shrooms and lsd have cross tolerance.

maybe some other stuff, tryptamines with other tryptamines i'm not so sure, it gets tricky since theres no info really, but stuff like dmt (assuming also dpt) don't have any tolerance really, might notice some tolerance with shrooms and 4-ho/aco-dipt/det, 5-meo-dipt, amt ect. some people do some don't with those things i don't understand why as some of them are pretty similar to psilocybin, who knows.

also phenethylamines don't have much of a tolerance the next day, like you can take the same dose with same effects. maybe after a few days a tolerance would arise, again people report diffrent things though.
pea's and tryptamines won't have cross tolerance though lsd and psilocybin certainly do.

Hmmm..i Thought mescaline (a PEA) an psilocybin displayed crosstolerance...Are you sure about that?

i know mesc has cross tolerance with lsd and bol-something but never heard of psilocybin, got anything to read on it?

I think Erowid could provide some insight into this. Some neuropharmacology maybe can clear this up

There is definitely a cross tolerance with mushrooms and acid. On my cat's first cake, me and a friend split the shrooms, each about 3 to 4 grams i would say. I tripped my BALLS off and it was great, but my friend just got a buzz then it went away because 2 days earlier he had a strong full 12 hour acid trip. I learned from this, gotta give your brain some time to come back to normal before taking it back out into a psychadelic state. Peace.
