What's the DUMBEST thing you did recently?

My latest short bus genius moment was aiming my laser pointer at a large cut Cubic Zirconia exactly like this one:





What the fuck was I thinking?

Firing a LASER (5mW bit still) at a gemstone cut to CATCH YOUR EYE. Was I expecting refraction? Lasers only have one wavelength of light and its focussed.

What was I thinking other than: "let's fire mah laz0r at mah gemstone"?
Not very much.

As the room lit up with countless laser dots all around I immediately saw the error of my ways and turned it off.

Not a MENSA moment.


What is your latest caper where you had a perfectly good brain and completely failed to use it?

Yikes.
Thankfully I've been more cautious about potential injury so I tend not to do much dumbassery there anymore.


A few weeks ago I went to brew coffee in my single cup brewer. Turned it on and went upstairs to change. Came back and there was coffee all over the counter. Literally brewed all 12oz on the counter. I forgot to put the cup in it. So I put the cup in and added more water, cleaned up the counter and took the dogs out. Came back and there was coffee all over the counter again. I overestimated how much water I needed. :facepalm:

I was taking a bath with my friend the other day and I knocked her iPhone 6 into the water :facepalm: gotta buy her a new one now. expensive mistake.

to be fair, we were both wasted and who the fuck puts an iphone on the ledge of a bathtub anyway. still very dumb.

Personally I think the dumb factor in that is Apple. How is a handheld mobile device that costs a fortune not waterproof? Even cheap watches are.

I was skiing backwards at close to 60mph a week ago... Probably not super smart but i love that feeling and i was on 3 tabs of lsd so it was all systems go. 

Otherwise i have been pretty reasonable lately.

I've got a doozy.  Here goes.

Ok, so I've been really strapped for cash lately, but I came up with a way to acquire most of a million dollars.  My friend Shep Proudfoot put me in contact with two career criminals that he knows, a tall blonde swede, and a short funny looking fella.  The plan was: I was going to get them to kidnap my wife and hold her for ransom.  I was going to broker the ransom between them and my wealthy father-in-law.  I told the two criminals that I was only getting 120,000$ for the ransom, that I'd give them each 40 K (and an early 90s Buick), but in reality the ransom I told my wife's father was a million dollars.  I stood to make 920 K on this.

Anyway, long story short, the whole thing goes sideways.  They killed my wife, they killed my father-in-law, they killed a cop and two random motorists.  They even killed a guy working in a toll booth!  The Swede killed the funny lookin fella and pushed his corpse through a fuckin wood chipper, and the money is missing.  The Swede's in jail and I'm on the lam.  That's why I haven't posted much in the past week.  Huge mistakes made all around!

Man, it feels good to get that off my chest.

I tried to take a picture of my arm when i was booting up with a fancy roxycodone shot but I gave myself a small abcess cause I forgot to register the shot too busy with the angles.

I loaned a friend money since he recently lost a job and he claimed he was behind on his payments. Turns out he ended up taking a vacation to a casino resort with his lady friend. He is ignoring my calls and I doubt I'll ever see the money again. It hurts since I've known him for about a decade.

I bought crystal MDMA for the first time last week. On St Patrick's day I was pretty drunk and decided to try some even though I haven't bought any test kits yet.

I snorted 100mg and ended up having a really good time. It turned out to be some real quality molly. One of the best and cleanest feeling rolls I've had.

I haven't really been having any derp moments lately.
