True dat. I'm trying to avoid dating sites as I feel I lack... power and it's the women who get 100 messages a day that are in control. In person is completely different.
I just finished my CV so I'll have a job soon and I can start meeting people/women.
But, there is this beautiful woman at yoga. We'll make eye contact all the time and I'll catch her staring at me when my back is turned but... she's incredibly shy and always nervous. It makes it so much harder initiating conversation with a woman who lacks confidence. I'll build it up before talking to her, I feel she will start to come out her shell soon  :awelol:

If your looking for hook ups tinder definitely has the potential to work, its just such a massive fucking pain that I've given up on it, not worth the effort in my personal opinion. I'll preface this by saying tinder works differently depending on the area you live in, I've had some luck moving around.

I just find that talking to these girls over tinder is like pulling teeth. Its almost impossible to get these girls talking. Unless you scraping the bottom of the barrel, most of these girls get hundreds upon hundreds of matches, and your goal is to somehow differentiate yourself from the pack. In a true face to face interaction, this isnt as difficult in my opinion. But on tinder there is nothing backing you up besides a couple pics and your texts on a screen. I've been most successful just saying really dumb shit that catches their attention. Being honest, open, and real on tinder is a sure fire way to get nowhere

Its a real love hate relationship for me. It's a good way to find hookups if your not commonly around women, but its absolute shit in that its completely impersonal, and the majority of girls are on there for the attention

I use dating website all the time. I've gotten laid multiple times because of them. They work if you knw how to use them properly.
