stropharia ambigua or psilocybe cyanescens??

found these growing in wood chips 20 miles inland from point conception.  Central coast of california.  Spore print is dark purple / black.

I don't think they are cyans but i have never seen them in person so just making sure.  The wavy caps have me doubting stropharia ambigua but my key does say they can have a wavy cap. 

I initially ruled out cyans because i am not seeing any blue staining and the caps have no carmel  color...however i know this species also has a lot of variation so thought I would ask regardless.

Thanks for any help in this ID!

Sadly they are not cyans. P. Cyanescens have slimy caramel colored caps and pure white steam (No yellow tinges).

I figured as much, but thanks guys and sorry to keep throwing stuff at everyone all the time.
The species seems quite variable... my key doesn't show some of these characteristics. I'll try to do a better job of IDing them on my own before asking next time. Thanks again all!

Yeah I've got these popping up in the eucalyptus wood chips by the thousands. Probably half an acre of the damn things taking up potentially psychedelic real estate. Lol not that I've found any wood living blue staining mushrooms here to date, but I'll keep looking!
