i prefer OTD. There just seems to be a better vibe in there and it also seems more well rounded. But the pub is cool too...

OTD is less happy, but more natural, it seems. i like 'em both :smile2:

They both have their virtues.  If I am in need of a good laugh, I'll read some of the posts in OTD.  If I want some sane discussion, I'll come to the Pub.  :smile:  But I mostly only post in the Pub, because I am too sensitive for OTD.

I must also say that I enjoy both (the Pub is closer to my heart though)!

Since I moderate both forums i spend time reading posts in both places but i post mush more in the Pub.

I've found some funny things in OTD, but I don't really find it amusing spending time flaming people and just being a general ass... I completly understand how this might be funny - I turned an IRC trivia game into a flame fest for like 45 minutes until the admin of the game banned myself and 5 others for life :frown: ... but I dig the atmosphere of the pub much more... maybe just 'cause I love the Dead so much. Anyhow, no point to this post... just wanted to agree and say thanks to all of you who make the pub such a fun board to spend (waste? nah...) my time on when I should be studying for my exams!

the pub is the best. Nothing but good vibes here. I dont even look in OTD too much...its ok...but the kind of people in the pub seem more like the kind of people i would like to hang out with in real life. Full of kind souls that want nothing but good for one another...thats how the whole world should be.

yeah...i only have a few friends who really live up to the calibur of people in the pub and the shroomery. Thats why im hoping to go to the gathering in ohio this year...so i can personally meet some like-minded people.
