My first post in the pub ever what is this about?

Why is OTD getting the ass of every thing now, OTD used to get fresh and interesting posts now people stay here then switch to OTD to post some random bullshit crap, or rack up post counts in a thread. The OTD used to be just like the pub... Dare I say better? I don't understand why you guys switched it up on me like that, but thats ok becuase im here now... I think.... I have to browse this pub deal for a little bit longer to see how to properly post here, becuase I know people here can be anal if you go off on stupid tangents or have one word replies with just a  :tongue: or a  :confused: or even a  :rolleyes:... But freal I just wanted to make my presence known. Beware I have a sharp wit, and I exterminate fire with piss :laugh:

I like it better here because people are just more laid back and happy. There's alot of BS based on bitterness in the OTD. The OTD can be fun but sometimes can be just really annoying. That's when I stay out of it. OTD is for flaming while the PUB is for relaxing and talking about good times with good people. I still find an occasional good post in the OTD, but there is always something good over here. This is where I belong.

The mods aren't that anal. They just want people to be aware that there is a time and place for everything....and being rude or an asshole to other shroomerites is uncalled for and does not belong in this forum!

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Nothing in the OTD has really bothered me.  That's not to say I like it though :laugh:.  Yeah I like the pub a lot better too.  It seems to be a lot more relaxed and mellow.

People should understand that the pub's existence is tied to otd and what it stands for, without otd, no pub!

I always look at the Pub as a place for good vibes while the OTD is for venting and not taking things serouisly. It's like giving people an outlet so that the Pub is happier place.


And as Ripple said, the two are tied to each other. :yesnod:
