Two Sons: Another Hope to Frustrate the Pub
    #2994495 - 08/12/04 05:08 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

A man decides to give all his money to one of his two sons. The son who will receive all his money will be the last to arrive at a certain destination.

Both sons leave their father's home and spend a considerable time sitting around waiting for the other to arrive at the destination first.

After a number of years; both sons encounter wise men who both offer advice to the two sons who consequently travel immediately, and as fast as they can, towards the destination.

What was the advice the wise men gave the sons?

It is advice though, doesn't seem like it would be lies

Perhaps it's a twist on semantics. I could've sworn I've heard this one before

might you have been thinking of this?:

An Arab sheikh tells his two sons to race their camels to a distant city to see who will inherit his fortune. The one whose camel is slower will win. The brothers, after wandering aimlessly for days, ask a wise man for advise. After hearing the advice they jump on their camels and race as fast as they can to the city. What does the wise man say?

The answer's here if your interested
