Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

We got winners, we got losers
Chain smokers and boozers
And we got yuppies, we got bikers
We got thirsty hitchhikers
And the girls next door dress up like movie stars

Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, I love this pub

We got cowboys, we got truckers
Broken-hearted fools and suckers
And we got hustlers, we got fighters
Early birds and all-nighters
And the veterans talk about their battle scars

Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm I love this pub

[Chorus:]
I love this pub
It's my kind of place
Just walkin' through the front door
Puts a big smile on my face
It ain't too far, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm I love this pub

I've seen short skirts, we got high-techs
Blue-collar boys and rednecks
And we got lovers, lots of lookers
And I've even seen dancing girls and hookers
And we like to drink our beer from a mason jar

Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm I love this pub
O, Yes I do

I like my truck (I like my truck)
I like my girlfriend (I like my girlfriend)
I like to take her out to dinner
I like a movie now and then

But I love this pub
It's my kind of place
Just trollin' around the dance floor
Puts a big smile on my face
No cover charge, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm I love this pub
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm I love this pub

I tend not to crapaogorise myself.

But both probably.

I generally read in the pub and S&P. Occasionally I pop into Music Art & Literature, but I think I only post in the pub.

I think I'm a bit too intimidated (sp?) by some people in S&P to post in there.

I  the pub!

I've tried out S&P now and then but all that seriousness drives me crazy enough inside my own mind that I prefer to let it all hang loose here..:)

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

hiya sam!!!!  S&P can get intimidating, but that's jsut because people sometimes forget that this is a community, and the pub is a great reminder for that.

conversly,  S&P will bring up ideas that will show you how egotistical one may be (ie when getting mad or frustrated)  this is great for bettering oneself IMHO.

you should drop a post in there once in a while  *nudge*
