 Staggering a mushroom dose

Ive tried mushrooms in a variety of ways;chocolate, plain dry, tea, chopped up and mixed with OJ, powdered, etc. Does anyone have any experience with staggering a mushroom dose out into two seperate periods of eating? Lets say that one would eat a certian amount at T 0:00 and then an equal/greater/lesser at T 0:45, would this prolong the trip? Create a longer peak? Would the second dose be affected by tollerance? Thanks in advance

i find it hightens the visual effects. a little bit longer, but usually when i am staggerign mushroom doses im drunk or well u know.
second dose will eb affected by tollerance.

I think starggering doses wastes shrooms/lsd. In all the times ive ate more while tripping i dont seem to get much higher if any. The trip is just extended and the burnout/come down sucks more and is longer.

Hmm this is interesting, I wanted to know kinda the same thing.
What if you have X grams at T 1:00 then have and equal X grams at T 2:00 .. I mean at least one hour or more. Will the trip get any higher (I don't think so), but will the trip last longer even if there is more burn out?

Alot of the time I will eat about a gram, wait until after the peak, and eat another 2.5 - 3...
I like doing this because the first gram you take gives you the alkaloid shock of mushrooms, but its only a grams worth so its not bad. Then you take the 3 grams, and you don't get a bad body load. I haven't noticed any decrease in actual effects, only in the unwanted physical effects.(nice body buzz is still present)
I have also done this with LSD..
I take a hit, and then the next day I take a few more. Alot of my LSD trips are spent kinda edgy from the body load. If I do the above I do not get a bad body load, and can spend the trip enjoying the effects, very calm. Again I haven't noticed any significant tolerance to any desirable effects..
But I think it is important to dose low for the first one, and high for the second, because I'm sure the tolerance would be more prevalant if you dosed 2g's and then 2g's again, etc...
But again, I personally find the "tolerance" to be a useful tool.

but I don't have enough experiance to justify my hypothesis...
In a little more than a week from now, I'll take my next hit. I'm thinking about 3 or 4 grams total, so what would you recomend?
High-low dose, or low-high?

I had 10g dry of B+ followed 2 hours later by
6g of golden teacher, it was the baddest, most
frightening experience of my entire life.
Never again, now 4gs is my limit and the trips
are well spaced out not every week like they used
to be.

In my experience, taking shrooms well into the trip is ineffective. Taking them just after/during come-up is really good

I think high-lows would be a waste, I believe,(w/o any scientific backing) that the "tolerance" is dose dependent, IE you will have more of a tolerance from eating 4 grams then you would from one.. And in my experience for me, the body load/nervousness is the first affect on the tolerance chopping block...
If it were me, I'd eat maybe a gram to half gram, jsut enough to feel effects and body load, wait until after the peak, maybe 3 or 4 hours, then eat however much you want. Though it should be noted that eating 1 gram, waiting a few hours and eating 3 will not feel like a 4 gram trip... Again, this is how it works for me, no guarantees for you, but if you got the shrooms and the time, it can't hurt...
But last time I did this, I freaked a little, for about 15 minutes when it was coming up, but after that it was a great ass trip.
