highest dose was about half ounce of cubensis.......it was pretty crazy, i have no regrets.....i knew what i was in for :grin:

once i had a very large amount of liquid acid...i used to think i knew how much, but i really don't, the guy was trying to mess me up for good and squirted an insanely large amount onto my tongue...at first it was great, then after awhile i started throwing up....then throwing up yellow bile...then throwing up blood. (i hadn't eaten for a day or so) and my friend who was being my babysitter started to freak out and called somebody else who in turn took me to the emergency room. then on the way there my heart stopped and my body got really friggin' caold and weak....but they got me up and going again...then that happened twice or three times more in the emergency room....i was in there for two days. (shudder)
it took two years to fully get over the memory, and every time i ever did any hallucenogenic since then, i always think i am dying for the first twenty minutes or so, but when i don't die, i snap out of it and have a good time.
no actually, recently, that's not true any more...i am pretty sure i have fully recovered. salvia is the only one that totally freaks me the fuck out these days. and i keep doing it. working on an inner healing that i feel is coming slowly.
DON'T get me wrong...i'm not a drug addict. i just truely believe that one shouldn't never drive again after a wreck....one should always get up and face the beast...just face him differemtly and a little more carefully. and mushrooms, they are great. really really great...and they have helped me actually get over the LSD caused problems. and no, i'm not crazy from it. most people would never know i did any drugs in my life....i'm not crazy, just a little insane. :grin: :wink: :smirk:

true story. unless you want to call me a liar. (shrug) i've been called worse.
anyway, i don't know if that counts since i wasn't the one who chose to take that much. but an experience like that will give you a respect for drugs you can never truely TRUELY get any other way. peace all! :smirk: :smirk:

Hmmmmm Lets see.................rubbing last2 brain cells together to aid in firing of synapses .
Iron Maiden concert many years ago a friend and I bought 5 oz of freshies to split with 3 other people , we passed out 1 oz they did not like taste , so he and I ate the remaining 4 oz . Was great one of my best trips . Did not regret it !
Lsd.......... took 8 hits of Mr Testtube over a 12 hour period , dropped 1 waited till peaking (3 hours) then dropped 2 more hits , one hour later took 1 hit , one more hour 2 more hits , then six hours later took final 2 hits . We fried for like 4 days , 3 of which were hard core peak . Was a blast , did I regret it ............... no , but will never do that much "A" again , I know I lost some brain cells in that one . :cool:

A relatively high dose of acid is incredibly small - you should all be careful with liquid acid...
My highest dosage ever was 4 grams of Copelandia Cyanescens lost my body - quite pleasant though - ive had worse trips on a lot lower doses of Subaeruginosa (like two grams dried once)
Subaerguniosa s are classed as highly potent by stamets

Its not a boast . My philosophy is if your gonna do something (no matter what the case be ) DO IT RIGHT , OR DO NOT DO IT AT ALL !  These were only one time events (as far as quantity ) , would never do it again (too fucking old ) , would not reccomend anyone else doing either ! I am not some burnt out , shot out scumbag either . I am responsible (family , job ) , pay taxes (have little choice) , never been in jail for more than traffic violation (failure to pay fines ) , and enjoy life (when its not shitting on me ) . oh yeah finished school .
Hell for that matter I have done nothing harder than booze in more than 6 yrs . So when the time comes I will do some serious mushie eating , they are much mellower and safer in my opinion than "A" . :cool:

i agree with you trip. Those are one time experiences(that's what it will be for me anyway). I've only done acid once though. But i think i'm gonna be doing 4 hits next weekend*(if i have the money, which i think i will). And if i'm ever put in the situation, i plan on takin up to 8 hits also.

I'm never gonna go TOO far though(like 70+ hits or something)

but don't you hate people that brag about 'how much drugs they've taken' or 'how much alcohol they've drank', etc? The big dose idea doesn't really work with psychedelics like acid or shrooms. Like Leary said once you go beyond about 300-500 micrograms of acid there's no difference in effect. Same thing with mushrooms. Once above 3-5 grams there's no difference. There's only so many brain receptors available. The rest is just ejected from your body.

I doubt you have eaten 9.5 grams of dried cubensis. That would cover two plates...
Cubensis isnt very potent and when we tried to eat as mush as we could, it took me almost an hour to get through 8grams dry and it wasnt worth the effort.

Doubt all you want . I ate 2 plus ounces of freshies at one sitting in a concert . Three people who were spose to eat gaged at taste . Me and friend who paid for said "why waste " they will not make it home (would turn to black goo ) lets eat the fuckers . Back then we paid 25$ per oz ........ total spent was 125$, we bought one oz for each person , do the math ............ would you just flush it ?  :frown:Give it to strangers at concert ?  :blush:

I would have to disagree, a friend and I sat down and split an ounce of dried cubes one night (Thats 14grams each). It was a lot to eat, and it tasted like shit, but we did it and had a fuckin blast. 9.5grams is not an unreasonable amount of dried cubes to eat IMO.

I like them either way fresh or dry(as far as taste goes ) . But it would take an awfull amount of water to choke down 9.5 g of dried . I will stick to "freshies" if I want to speak to higher beings again .
The most dry I ever got down was 4.5 g , could have done more just could not handle dry mouth syndrome they created ! :cool:

I actually prefer fresh, they don't taste to bad. 14 grams of dry was a lot to eat and it was awful, but cake icing helped the process and lots of fuckin water, only took about 25 mins, i just put handfulls in my mouth and chewed them up. grin and bear it, thats about how the trip went also, started to regret eating that much, but by the end of the night i was extremely happy.  :grin:

I always try to have a good time  :grin:  thats all life is about to me!  Oh yeah, we got the fuckin giggles alright, but that was before and then after I left my body for what seemed like hours, but was probably 20mins.  It was an insane night, hardest I ever tripped off of shrooms before.  I just felt bad for my g/f because she low dosed and me and my buddy were off in lala land.  :grin:

I dont understand why you would eat that much of cubensis when you could have obtained/cultivated a mushroom like Copelandia Cyanescens that is far more potent by weight. You could eat two-three grams of these dry and they would literally fry your brain.
Ive found that after about six grams dry - further dosage of cubensis is a waste of time - by the time you have consummed such a large amount of dried material (and id suggest that each gram would be about 25 dried specimens atleast) that sufficient time will have passed for tolerance to become an issue.
Try woodloving varieties - you can trip on less than ten fresh specimens (psilocybin content alone above 1.3%)

hmm... i eat two dry cubensis last saturday and they were 1.5g each.
i dipped them in honey and eat them in minutes.

Doubt all you want...I ate a total of 9.5 grams of dried mazatpecs the night of my second trip.  I started with 5 grams and after 3 hours wasn't tripping ...and being new to shrooms I didn't realize it could take that long for the powder to start being absorbed into my blood.  I THOUGHT I had a tolerance so I took another 4.5 grams of my mazzies.

I disagree with whomever said that anything over 5 grams is the same on shrooms.  I found that to be true with LSD.  I tried puddling once and tripped for 36 hours off those 20 drops (took 10 drops initially and took the other 10 2 hours into it).

9.5 grams was very intense...more than just 4-5 grams...that's for sure.  I posted about it in Trip Tips the night I dosed.  So sorry to burst your bubble...but I did indeed take 9.5 grams...I wasn't planning on dosing that much...but at the time I thought I had a tolerance issue...I learned the hard way.  :smile:  It was still an overall pleasant experience.

I believe higher doses hit you quicker and harder , yes I agree that at some point your body and brain have absorbed all it can leaving some chemicals to waste , but until they completely break down , I also believe those leftovers act as time release capsules(especially if eaten in stages ) , prolonging the time you trip , thus increasing the chances of intense visuals .
Try this if you are adventurous ............
Deprive yourself of sleep for 24 or more hours , also fast during this time , then take high level dose . Sleep deprivation alone can cause halucinations(usually takes 3 or 4 days) , mix in a halucinogenic drug .................hold on tight cause you will go from 0 - mach in no time !

last time phish played dearcreek. my buddie had 3 vials of some whip, that shit was good. 7 drops first night 11 the second and we wasted 20 drops a piece the third night. i know i know you cant trip three night in a row. but we were bound and determined to prove that theory wrong. didnt feel a thing. had ti smoke dope for a buzz. im not bragging, just letting ya know how dumb i was to waist that much acid. seen my buddy take 8 drops in each nostral while being held upside down. some of my friends are pretty stupid when that have alot. just wish we had all we wasted, today.

Well, this summer a lot of acid (in the form of microdots) came my Friend's way (if you know what I mean). Anyway, he took 3 and 1/2 hits the first day, 6 the next day, then 14 the day after that and then 28 the next day. He had fun, but the first trip was definitely the best. What really pissed him off is that everyone kept saying that it was mescaline. He really wanted to beat the shit out of all those assholes. He got to trip with his girl and had a lot of fun. But, he also had to trip with a crackhead (seriously and we didn't know it until he told us later that night) that nobody liked. Anyway, the guy kept saying that the dots (about the size of a pinhead) were horse tranqs and kept saying, "I'm feelin' horsey ya'll, I want to eat some hay". Needless to say he was a yokel. Anyway, the only fun he had was when the crackhead yokel went outside in the driveway. My friend kept turning the garage light on and off for about twenty minutes and the guy kept falling down and rolling on the ground from laughing so hard.

first time i shroomed i did 2g's, then... now i just take 3.5g dried. it's not bad, usually gives me a good trip with nice visuals. now that my dog is growing, i don't know what i'll be taking. maybe 4-5gs

now that is completely different - tolerance would have negated much of the effects of the increased dosage after your initial five grams.
A true dosage of 9.5 grams would be if you'd have consumed them all with your initial dose.
Secondly higher doses never prolong the experience of either LSD or psilocybin (related alkaloids) and lengthening the trip or experience of their substances (unless there are other active substances involved) by dosage alone is physically impossible.
LSD will always last 12-14hours tops despite the dosage etc
similarly psilocybin and related alkaloids in cubensis will provide you with an experience of equal time frame what ever the dosage is.
Sure on a truely hard dosage of mushrooms - and try 4 grams of copelandia cyanescens to understand what im talking about - you can be pretty much fucked up for days - or scattered, but the experience will plateau and come down in the same timeframe just like a small dosage of cubensis

?Twas fun, had a great evening, but not mindblowing by any means (these are Tasmanians, BTW).  So it can be done, and doesn?t have to involve the stratosphere, either.....although I?d NEVER recommend anyone else to try it  :smile:

I ate 30+/-g's of some mushies at a really high elevation one time and blew my mind hardcore. That experiance has put my other shroom experiances to shame. I ate 30 hits of some kick ass silver liqiud Cidney one time and that was my best acid trip ever. So basicaly within logical amounts, the more the better.

What attitude? Im not question your penis size, im suggesting that properly weighed 9.5 grams of dried material would literally take you near an hour to consume quickly to avoid tolerance - no need to take it personal, im not questioning your manhood or your cultivation skill.

I am average size person 175 lbs ...............
I can sit down and eat a 12oz steak , 1 lg. baked potatoe , nice pile of brocoli , a dinner sized salad , pile of ambrosia (fruit salad ) , with all the fixins needed for such a fine compliment ..............and be done with it in less than 20 mins .........chewing each bite 28 times (like momma always said ) and drinking along the way .
Why is it so unbelievable that 10 g of shrooms would be any different ????????????? Especially on an empty stomach ???????????/
Oh yeah and have a slice of apple pie / ice cream 20 mins after supper settles in .
Total time for that meal 40 min ...............max.............watching T.V.????????????????????????????????????????????????

Well, this may NOW be your contention, but it wasn't what you were originally talking about.  You "doubted" that so-and-so had eaten 9.5g dried cubensis.  LOTS of other people have eaten that much or more---that's MY point. 

An HOUR to eat 10g of dried anything?  That 100g plate in the pic I posted was eaten in about 20 minutes, and that's WAY more material than 10 DRIED grams would be.  And like I said, I've eaten 11+ dried grams at once, and I can eat that much in about 5 min.  Shove 'em in the mouth, crunch, crunch, crunch, drink, rinse and repeat.......

Or, put 'em in gelcaps and you can down 10g in just minutes that way, too.....

I'm not sure why tolerance would be an issue here....

My apologies for jumping the gun and assuming you were being condescending.  I get kinda tripwire about such things (too much time on political boards  :wink: )

I'd love to try Pans, but as of now I haven't.  I have about half a gram of dried Pan cyans that were the result of an aborted experiment (contamination) and I don't think that's enough for a dose (at least for me--typical dose 6-8g dried cubies).  I'd love to get another Pan print and try again--the last one was very small and VERY faint, so I used the whole thing.  If you're serious, PM me and I'll send my addy.  What do you want in return?

henryp..................in Re to Great White North .........thats a bummer man I live in the desert down south , I do like your style of shroom eating , sounds alot like me and one friend from school days , the rest of our little commune is affraid to eat high doses . They will partake with us but not on the religious level ! :wink:

Nobody's mentioned making mushroom TEA....

I've had my best and most powerful trips from grinding the cubes and making tea with it - Many people tell me I end up losing a lot of it in the process, but through several extractions in large amounts of water, its DEFINITELY sucessful.

The largest dose I've done was well over 1/4 ounce of cubensis, HOWEVER it was not the strongest - nobody seems to be taking into consideration the wild variety in strength among various strains that circulate...

The most POWERFUL trip was from 6 grams of what the locals around here were calling ubershrooms ( I learned this AFTER the trip.. ). I consumed the tea and within 20 minutes definitely had to lay down.

I listened to this cd Shpongle - Tales of the Inexpressible, which assisted in making this the most mindblowing experience I've ever had. Complete ego-loss; I was everyone and no one and was thinking everything and nothing at the same time. After going through one of the most twisted experiences of my life, I stood up and remembered that I was a life-form. I started recalling that I was indeed a human being. A human being with a history, a life, a home, a kitchen, a stove, and a teapot which I had used to make mushroom tea ;-)

LSD.... I believe 7 drops of very high-quality Alice D were consumed, and this wasn't nearly as powerful as those muchrooms.

On a sidenote: I think it is REALLY not a good idea to take a drug, and then while its still in effect (or just getting started), take more.. Its always best to take it all at once.

This is annoying me..
Some of us have no problem with the taste of mushies.
Last weekend I ate 4g of dried cubies in one mouthful, chewed for 2 mins and swallowed. Hence I could have eaten an ounce in about quarter of an hour if I really wanted. This is far from the realm of the impossible. I honestly don't give a shit if I have to eat 4g of cubies or 2g of pans or whatever.. the only reason I would eat another species is to experience a qualitatively different trip.

A buddy of mine wend to score a large amount of acid from his dealer. It was in a tobasco bottle. Well these fuckers got into a big fight and the dealer and my freind got involved. The dealer got the entire damn bottle broken over his head!His head turned all red and he tryed to wash it off. I dont know how a tobasco bottle broke over his head but it did. I never rember hearing what happened to him. It was a EXTREMELY large amount of acid

That is absolute shite and you know it! That plate would be about three to four grams dried tops...Trust me if you dry and weigh out 10 grams of dried cubensis it would require about three times as many mushrooms... or maybe your scales are different in USA

Next time you eat 10 grams of dried cubensis you time it and tell me you did it in twenty minutes - ill believe you when you eat four grams dry of cope.cyanescens

It was a EXTREMELY large amount of acid

After a certain level - about 300-500 micrograms more acid has no effect. There are only so many brain receptors. The excess just gets urinated. You arn't going to turn into a glass of orange juice with a larger dose - it might last a little longer because there's more floating round in your system but other than that it's the same as a normal dose.

With acid, I'm not sure, nor do I think that anyone really can be sure unless they have access to the proper equipment (which includes something to verify the identity of the substance and then quantify it).  The largest number of hits I ever took was 8 of them, though one time I took 4 hits of acid which produced an experience substantially stronger than the 8 hit trip.

Bear in mind this quote from Erowid: ". . . there is no practical way to know the exact dosage of a particular tab without either trying it or knowing the chemist. "

Based on the few guidelines I can actually find that describe an LSD trip in terms of micrograms, my estimate would be that the largest dose I've done is around 300 - 500 micrograms.  Again, that's just an estimate based on what I can infer from information about average blotter doses and the power of some of my experiences.

With shrooms, I only ever bought them and at them dried once.  Every other time I've taken shrooms, I had grown them, so I ate them wet.  My rough estimate is that the highest dose of shrooms I've taken is roughly equivalent to 4 or 5 grams dry.

With the one LSD trip I had (4 hits of the stongest acid I've had), it was my 4th trip.  I was totally unprepared for how strong it would be and had a nightmare of a trip.  The next morning I was totally traumatized.  I wouldn't say that I regretted it, but for a few weeks I seriously thought I'd never do acid again.  I don't at all regret it.  It was interesting, to say the least.

i took 6 hits of acid and found my self walking home in a snow storm and no i dont regret it..and if i could ever find any more lsd i would deff have a few more trips
