Comparison Studies with Scerlotia

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has tried doing comparison studies with scerlotia -
Specifically isolating a strain, then isolating a sector and comparing the quality/quantity of stones for mexicana, tampanesis or galandoi when:
- Using the fastest thread-like mycelium (like you would with cubes) - Using the brownest mycelium with stones in the agar?
If so then how would they compare in regard to:
- The average time to grow stones - The amount and/or size of the stones?
I am dead certain that RR did some work on this, but I can't find the details and there is no need to re-invent the wheel, now that we have a forum!
Thanks

Tons of quotes and links in my journal. Noticed one quote answers your question posted in another sclerotia question you made along with this one.
Check it out https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22818693

Thanks again for the reference. I was wondering more if anyone did more quantitative comparison, but this is the best I can get and I appreciate your help

Dude tried 500+ bags of each variety and offers not every statistic, but what worked best

Ah, that is very handy information to point me to. Bigger is not necessarily better! Plus with bigger ones you still have to dry them somehow? I will have to stick with RR's tips on darker mycelium being the better overall stone producer, as I don't have much else to go with. Still I guess any mycelium picked at random should produce some stones, but how much is uncertain.
