Do you trust your trip intuitions? Seeking advice..

I don't trip much. The last trip I had was a mescaline trip a little over two years ago and it was the first one I had had in perhaps an equally long time.
During the trip, I got this strong feeling that a dentist who had removed my wisdom teeth around 8 years earlier was crooked and had botched the surgery out of carelessness, but covered up his mistake by basically stiching part of the skin in my upper mouth over the "mistake". I also sensed that I still had/have a piece of broken tooth lying somewhere inside my face or gums. I could almost physically feel what I thought was the broken piece of tooth inside my face during the trip. This idea made further sense to me because I have always had a crooked smile, where one side of my mouth is too lazy to curl upwards in the act of smiling.
There were a couple other reasons I thought this theory made sense too, but the point is that I got an intuition that I felt very, very confident about at the time.
Some of you might immediately dismiss this as some idiot that can't differentiate between trip and reality (and consequently not fit to take drugs), but I hope that there are at least a couple of people out there who can take this seriously and tell me if they have ever had a similar trip experience where they had a strong, new "intuition" about something, and whether or not that intuition turned out to be accurate or not.
Thanks for your help.

Well have you tried seeing another dentist? That would answer your question pretty quickly, then you wouldnt be left wondering if youre crazy or not.

Thanks for your feedback. In response to the dentist idea, I don't have the money to see a dentist at this point in my life.
Additionally, if I brought up this theory in the presence of a dentist, he/she might inquire about where I got this idea from and it might be kind of awkward for me to explain, plus the dentist could immediately dismiss the idea on the spot after hearing about its source.
Also, I think that the dentist might only be able to tell the truth about this matter if the piece of broken tooth that I thought I felt was actually still there. If my intuition about the botched surgery was true but a piece of tooth was not left behind, do you think there would be any other evidence that the dentist could find to tell the truth?
I've thought about telling a dentist about this before and other people in my life as well, but as you can probably guess, most people won't be open to entertaining a revelation that came about under the influence of illegal drugs. And this is the main reason why I have come here to discuss it.

Well its a legitimate concern, honestly. You dont have to tell them you had this revelation while on drugs.

These reasons seem more than enough to raise question. Its your mouth...you can be as concerned as you want. X-rays arent too expensive.

That's true, I don't have to tell the dentist about where I got the idea from. I guess part of the reason for this thread was also to have reassurance that I'm not crazy lol.
I only felt the broken piece of tooth during my trip though, I imagine I will have to come up with some story as to why I felt it at a certain point in time, but no longer. I guess I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

I would think being in a mental state where you are prone to hallucinations is probably the worst time to trust.

yes, in fact, sometimes I have a light dose just so I can go to a place of truth. Nothing hides in that space, I am able to see it all and get the answers to the important questions I have. I know this isn't quite the same thing as you are describing, but realize that you may have sensed something wasn't right during or after the procedure. Also, some things can spiral out of control due to paranoia, but they are always for a reason.

Yes. I once realized while on mushrooms that the squid robot alien agents from the matrix were after me. I ran home , changed into a sweater and buried all my drugs then left little messages hidden around my house for my parents to find when the CIA took me away.
I was about 14.
So in that case the trip Intuition was misleading .
Another time on mushrooms I had a sudden strong intuition that my father had been in a car accident. I phoned him and he had struck a bread on the highway at almost exactly the instant the intuition popped into my head to within about a minute.
In that case my trip intuition was uncannily psychic.
Get the mouth checked out by a dentist so you can learn if your intuition was right or not

I trust about 75% of em these days. here are those times in the past that when I think back on it I laugh cause the thoughts I was getting ( during the few difficult times) that I thought wow I cant believe I was thinking the cops were after me when I was doing absolutely nothing but walking around. Now adays if I start to get anxious cause of how hard I'm tripping I'm able to let go and just think that I'm ok and its just the L doing its job. Now that I've been able to let go easy I can think more rational and the thoughts I now have when I trip can be very profound and good

Sorry I meant to say "a bear" . The bear was making a loaf of bread beside the highway and chucked it in front of my dads car.
