Identification request: Psilocybe Semilanceata?

Hello, just wondering if I have correctly identified this beast as a lib? Everything seems to match up but the size and colour is making me doubt myself so I thought I'd better double check to make sure.
Habitat: Mountain grassland, sheep grazing nearby - growing straight from soil
Gills: Dark brown colour.
Stem: Yellow, wavy, robost, slightly enlarged at base.
Cap: Brown, 2.5cm, shaped like a wizard's hat.
Bruising: No bruising.
Location: 1800 FT above sea level in the hills of North West Wales.
No spores I'm afraid, they just don't seem to want to drop down at sea level.

Cool, thanks so much! I thought it was but the cap is so different to all the others that I picked today that I wanted to get it double checked, just so I know the next time I see something like it. No way was it going anywhere near my bouche until I got some expert conformation. Much obliged!

You've done great, you have a natural good eye for mycology looking at your collections so far, all been perfect
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

Thank you, that's very gratifying to hear. I did my best to prepare because I was terrified of getting something wrong, or just not being able to recognise one mushroom from another. It's actually really interesting and there are a few other species that I keep seeing around which I might post here so that I'll be able to put a name to them when I see them again. Many seem to grow in close proximity to the Semilanceata, so when I spot one, it seems that the libs usually aren't far away. Is this rational or am I just imagining things do you think?

there are many species that share a very similar habitat with your targeted sp. Panaeolus cinctulus, Panaeolus foenisecii, Protostropharia semiglobata, Conocybe sp, Bolbitus sp, and probably 100's more that i don't even know the names of.
Blazeyy is your best friend wrt ID'ing your local fungi. he can expand on that.

Ah that makes sense, Protostropharia semiglobata is one of the ones I was thinking of actually!

Yeah, most commonly find those, hygrocybe sp. are good indicators too, a very good indicator species is Entoloma conferendum if you find them there's a good chance there's witches flying among the grass too
it's just learning the names really i'm happy to help out, the more people know on this subject the better
