I know many of you climb...others won't probably be interested in this. Anyway, after 3 days he finaly made it. The route has only been bagged twice before. Check it out!

lol, I climb to E4/5 usally,so I would have no hope :smile:
I dont really boulder, unless I'm away on my own. I preffer
sports routes, and bolted climbs.

I'd have no hope either, most likely I couldn't even manage the first move. I mostly climb boulders/short routes because there are no long routes where I live :frown: Most sport routes are 10-15 meters, and the longest are around 40 m. The woods are full of boulders, though :smile:.

I boulder.
though I would like to get a rope so I
can climb higher
stuff.
I free climbed 50 ft
once and it scared the shit out of me.

this is me when I just started to learn how to climb, no climbing shoes, just skate shoes.
I have la sportiva cliffs now(shoes).

:ooo: That route doesn't look like it's too easy to climb with skating shoes. What's the grade?

There are many places where you can climb here...just not that many long routes. Why don't you come climb with us next spring/summer? We'll be climbing in the Helsinki area for sure, lots of good rock there.

Yes. Desperately. :lol: Last summer we were climbing with my friend's gear...I only got those a month ago, haven't had a chance to try them yet. Soooooooo long till spring....... :frown:

I never got past the mid-5.10s, but my old climbing partner is redpointing mid-5.12s now. To me, anything above 5.12a just seems impossible. I remember looking up at a 5.14b at the City of Rocks once, and just thinking to myself how the fuck do you climb that thing -- it was a thin, fingertip crack, about 60 ft long, very sustained, overhung at a 60 degree angle, polished smooth on both sides, and was NATURAL PRO to boot! Those things are way out of my league, even back when I used to climb!

PS: Loki, is the dog your belay slave? :wink:
