I really liked the movie and did get it. It was visually stunning to see on the big screen.

OK, so I FINALLY watched 'Interstellar'. Loved it. I can see why some people who were expecting something like Star Trek or whatever were confused when they saw the mental labyrinth/human drama story that it is, but I can't really think of much I would have changed about the film. Everything was great: story, effects, other technical aspects, THE MUSIC. Holy crap, Zimmer really knocked that one out of the park. It was a little slow in the beginning, but that was the foundation necessary to make the second and third acts so well supported.

You don't really know the meaning of sucked badly
Please use that term for movies that actually sucked badly
like recent Adam Sandler movies, Suckerpunch,
and Gigli, etc.

i watched it a second time tonight and picked up on quite a few things i didnt last time. the 2nd watch was just as enjoyable if not more

epic movie

i especially loved the fact that plan A and B both succeeded in the end and it alludes to the possibility that cooper and dr brand hooked back up

Can't believe this thread was only started eight days ago!

I went to this movie with my dad a while ago, as we both love anything with space/space exploration, and even completely sober this movie really moved me.

I usually don't like Matthew McConaughey's acting, but there were two scenes that I can recall where his presence was the focal point and made me choke up a little.

I really can't wait to take a psychedelic and watch this movie.

Definitely a movie I'm buying when it comes out. Saw it in IMAX and the sound was incredible. The intensity of take off vs the stillness of space was awesome.

I know this thread is a year old but I had to reply.

I watched this movie on lsd once it came out on demand. It was fuckin sweet.

1) Laughed my ass off at John Lithgow because he just looks and sounds hilarious on acid.
2) Then laughed even harder when McConaughey would speak because it was right when those Lincoln car commercials started coming out.
3) I love TARS the trusty robot. Luuuuuuuuuuuuv TARS.
4) Mind blown by the ending.

I personally didn't enjoy the movie as much as I thought I would. I found it slightly overrated and some of its conclusions annoyed me. It was a good movie though.

Still I'd rather watch Dredd for for the 100th time then I would Interstellar on the usual.

I didn't know anything about the movie or hype going in. I just picked the best sounding movie for a impromptu acid trip movie night with my buddy so it went very well.

Fuckin Lithgow man. His head was shaped like light bulb when I was trippin haha
