My outdoor patch seems riddled with insects on an unhealthy level is there any organic insecticides I can use that won't effect my cubes?

Diatomaceous earth is what you are looking for! It's the only organic insecticide that I'm aware of.

Yup outdoor should be low maintenance. Slugs, ants, and a few other insects will eat the fruit bodies when it's dry out though. I've found an easier way for outdoors to cut back on bugs without insecticides. I use large planter pots that are raised 4-5ft off the ground to dump spent mono subs in. cover them with bug screen, using wires to tie the screen to the planters. It won't stop fungus gnats, but elevating your pots will prevent 90% of bugs from eating your fruits. Hell I can get 4-5 more flushes out of subs just by mixing some manure with it, keeping it in a shady spot, and water accordingly.

I think I read a tek a long time ago that gave me the idea. They made manure piles on a large outdoor table. Covered them with a tarp until pins started popping up. Basically just it being elevated made it hard for any insects other than flies and gnats to reach it. Massive amount of fruits from that tek, but it was also using fresh spawn.

this stuff works wonders in the house on flees and such if you have animals as well. 100% safe to be around by humans and children so i imagine it should be safe out there too. not sure why bugs have such a hard time with it lol.
It makes lots of tiny cuts and damages insects with an exoskeleton. Just be careful not to breath any dust in though, it could irritate your lungs.

Diatomaceous earth is a great solution that won't harm your pets or family. Quick note though, having organic be your only requirement is a bit vague. Arsenic is organic while Coca-cola is not; but, I promise you that the arsenic will be more detrimental to human health. As well, arsenic is fine for mushrooms, as many morel hunters will tell you; morels found in apple orchards leech arsenic and lead from the soil happily with no harm to the mushrooms.
In short; organic does not automatically mean safe.

that sounds like something i want to try (;
This is exactly what I did except I don't use a screen. I also put my spent subs in grocery bags, loosely fold the bags over the top of the sub after watering and it maintains a higher humidity. I mixed my sub with Black Kow (50 lb bag costs a couple dollars), and organic jiffy seed starting mix as a casing layer. The substrate flushed 4-5 times indoor before I put it outside and added the Black Kow/Jiffy Mix, and the mycelium colonized a lot of the Black Kow pretty quickly once outdoors. I had really bad bug issues (mainly slugs) when the substrates were thrown on the ground in a bed of Black Kow. Once I elevated the substrates the bug issue was gone.
Here is a pic of some I harvested today:

I've had such bad problems with slugs that I no longer attempt to grow outdoors in the same area.
I did some outdoor patches out at a buddy's house with no problems.
Problem with slugs is they eat the fruits right down to the stubs of the stems in a matter of hours...
I've tried the slug/snail killer but it had little effect...

Nice one perception7! Yep if you watch slugs eat those nice meaty outdoor grows and follow their behaviour. A typical slug won't go above 3-4ft off the ground when sneaking around at night. They worry about drying out and there's rarely anything that they can eat above those heights in nature. That's what convinced me to start elevating my outdoor grows. Plus it's safe to spray pesticides around the base of your stuff and not have to worry about killing yourself later from poisoning. Ants are a bad problem if gets really dry and they start moving beds to moist areas. But that's easily fixed if you elevate your grows!

Put them outdoors in a BLACK bucket with a Black lid. Lately, Ive been putting everything outdoors in a Black bucket/ lid. The black bucket will stop the sun and provide all the shade needed even when in direct sunlight. It will also provide plenty of FAE with the appropriate amount of holes in the bucket.
Just check the bucket every two days and mist as needed
Caves were used to grow mushrooms because of the enviroment inside of them (dark, minimal light and air) This method is an attempt to recreating a CAVE LIKE enviroment within the bucket, and has worked good, for me at least

That doesn't sound the same, caves usually have way more insulation.

Also, black absorbs heat. So you're basically baking your substrate.
