Mescaline is illegal, but peyote is specifically exempted. (Actually, it's not just peyote, it's the entire genus peyote is in.) If prepared for consumption, similar to the British laws of fresh shrooms, it becomes illegal. Note: Not claiming to be a legal expert, and this may have changed, though if it has I haven't heard anything about it.

ya ravus you are right. things that are legal here also : salvia, HBWR/morning glory, nitrous, harmaline/harmine is schedule 1 but you can still grow or possess plants with it. same with ayahuasca plants but once you try to extract the dmt its illegal. legal RC's IAP. DPT 5-meo-dmt 5-meo-amt dipt 4-ho-dipt 4ho-det 4-aco-det various tryptamines/penethylamines like 2c-i / e dxm is available otc but t3's are not you can only get the tylenols with 8 mgs of codein otc. you shouldnt have any problems finding mush or cid or e or various other things that are illegal in b.c.

I wonder why Canada scheduled harmala alkaloids. Doesn't make much sense to me; I don't see a great danger or much recreational use.
