Apples and oranges imo. They're more similar than say LSD and shrooms, but still dissimilar enough that I wouldn't personally make the comparison, especially beyond the physical aspects. It's a great drug though, as you said it's very forgiving. Enough so that I stopped using a scale for it with any kind of frequency.

I've done datura before, my mom was growing it in her garden one year so I nabbed a pod. Imagine going insane with delirium for 4 hours. Its not a good time.

i had a ++++ with 4-ho-met. fucking amazing. it's really weird though because in the past i've taken it and it just hasn't worked.

Interesting list 20 year taper.  Out ov that i'd love to try the doet, 2c-g, and 2c-g-3 the most.

Most obscure i've done have been:

4-meo-mipt (ultra erotic, super smooth and tactile, non-visual)

bod (like a long lasting 2c-d without the visuals)

2c-t-4 (very trancey and serious for a phen, but nice overall)

4-ho-mpt (short and visual, serious tone, hecatean)

4-aco-dalt (long, interesting character)

lagochilus inebrians (mild relaxant)

THH (mild relaxant maoi)

desoxypipradrol (long lasting but very smooth functional stim)

rti-111 (like mdpv but with an easier comedown)

k-ghb (na-ghb is common and i've had that too, but i got to try two doses ov the more rare potassium form.  Unfortunately, i fell asleep right away after the first dose and used the second to combat a vicious mdpv comedown so i cant compare)


What do i want to try?  R-isomer ketamine, 4-mar, dipipanone, any barbiturate, uncut cocaine ( i've had cocaine ov course, but uncut coke would be considered very obscure, no?), pce, pcm and other rare dissociatives, and iboga.  I'd definitely be scared ov iboga but i'd try it in the proper set and setting.

Most obscure drug I have done is probably kratom, or whatever unknown RCs I have been given as acid.

Haven't done too much I'd consider obscure. When I think of obscure, I think scopolamine or iboga or something.

Have tried quite a few of the more obscure phens, like DOC and 25i. But even those are becoming more common place, and it's arguable that they weren't very obscure when I had taken them either.

misread the title of the thread. have also done 4-ho-MIPT myself, very characteristic of mdma except, softer and 'shroomy'. i guess that's the lack of parasympathetic stimulation?

i've done some form of DALT. not sure which. 5-meo maybe? all it did was give me a raging boner.


yohimbine also just gave me a boner.


would finally like to check out the base 2cx series, preferebly 2ce or 2cb. those are definitely on my list of to-do's.

I don't really fucks with the research chemicals. I get too squirmy and anxious waiting for illicit things in the mail, even if it's pretty dern safe if you're not an idiot.

Modafinil is probably the most obscure one. Not many people seem to know that one and it's super easy to get even on the clearnet from India, and probably the lowest risk scheduled(IV) drug to get shipped.
